Add-on / Banking ?s

I just got back from a wonderful stay at BWV and AKV.

It was our first time at AKV and we fell in love. So much so that I am considering an add-on of 100 points or so.

Since my use year is October, I would be entitled to the 2008 points if I buy now. My question is would I be able to bank those points to 2009 or am I already past the deadline?

My other question is when is the latest I can start the paperwork to be able to cancel if the incentives are better after June 15th?

It usually takes about 10 days to recieve the papers so I would say you are pretty safe for the incentives changing to work in your favor or if you wanted to be on the safe side wait until June 5th and that would put you at the 10 day mark for receiving your paper work.

It is my understanding that as long as you get the ball rolling you are set in for the current incentive and if it changes as long as you haven't closed you are able to recieve the new incentives.

Make sure you double check on the 2008 points with your guide. Some people were allowed 2008 points if they purchased at Jambo while other's (like me) only recieved 2009 points. Still very disappointed over this .

My guide actually used the 2008 points as a selling tool. My only concern is we won't be able to get back before November, so if I can't bank them, they are really not important to me.

With add ons, they have allowed banking past the banking window. I have been able to this in the past.

And, until your contract closes, you can make changes if incentives come out.

I did an add on today for BLT and know that I will be waiting to see what happens with the June 15th incentives (I am also signed up for the webcast).

When I added on in Feb, I made changes a few times, and I hadn't closed by April 1st and got the new incentives.

So, if you add on tomorrow, you would have plenty of time to adjust the contract if there are better incentives in a few weeks!
