quote:
I would assume 50-60 points would be enough to add 2-5 nights (on a studio or 1-br) right before or right after staying at the Boardwalk Villas. However, my wife thinks that it is a total pain to change resorts and that I should not get an add-on. I guess women are more practical or maybe it is just that I can't shake off the Disney Bug. In any case, I would love to hear some of you fellow DVCers opinion.[/quote]
I agree with you that inspite of how expensive (points wise) to stay there, I would do it again in a minute because of how beautiful it is over there (at least Disney makes you smile while they take you for every last cent!)
Anyway, another way you could look at it is that an add-on of 50-75 points would be enough for a week (with banking and borrowing) every 2-3 years in a studio and 6 nights (minus one weekend) or a full week (depending on season) in a 1br every 3rd year. This way you don't have to move mid-stay. BTW, this line of logic is not really working on my husband but you could give it a try with your wife (well he actually thinks we have enough points, can you imagine such a thing???)
