Add an extra day with noon arrival?

Why worry about adding the extra day now unless you are going to try for fast passes
Play it by ear till you get there and add the extra day after you use your ticket if needed

We did mk with landing at noon and didn't get to cr till 2 pm and didn't get to the park till around 3pm

I would add the park day, head to EP for a relaxing day, a couple attractions, dinner, back early to relax at the pool. Nice to be able to walk to EP and back.

I would skip adding anything and decide when your there. The catch22 is your fastpasses. days 5-14 only cost $10 per person, per day to add so the question really is do you want to add it now and get fastpasses early, wait and maybe not need it and save some money or extend it when you need it but maybe not get any useful fastpasses that day.

I think you need to add the extra day before you go to the parks if you have FP+ picked for every day of the existing ticket. When we were there in August we couldn't use our tix for a day that we hadn't picked FP+ without losing the FP+ for another day, or something like that. It was my daughter's MDE account, so I'm not sure of the exact wording.

For an extra $10 pp, I would always add the day. I have taken a red eye several times, landing around 10:30 am, bus to hotel, check in, drop luggage, bus to MK by noon or 12:30. Then spend the day until after Wishes and later if they had late hours! Love jumping right into the Disney magic and let all the stresses of the outside world disappear as quickly as possible...
