Add a day to tickets-FP reservations-will this work?

I am debating adding a day to our tickets once we arrive. (I've read this is the way to bridge?)
We currently have the buy 4 get 1 day free thru Orbitz, already linked on MDE and set for our trip Nov 30th.

Here is my plan:

Sun Nov 30th RD AK-no FP
Mon Dec 1 RD HS-FP
Tues Dec 2 RD MK-FP
Wed Dec 3 Universal/IOA -Day I want to add- FP for MSEP (arrive around 6)
Thur Dec 4 Epcot-FP
Fri RD MK-FP

SO, my question. If I make FP reservations for 5 days worth of parks, but skip FPs for AK, once I add a day will it pick up one of the days scheduled?
I am wanting to add a day to catch MSEP Wed with FP and 2 other FPs, so I am trying to work around the adding of a day but not having advance FP ressie availability for that day.
AM I making sense at all?

I figured AK was doable without FP, so I am hoping I can add a day and have FPs already scheduled to work for it.
