Add a day if pin code has expired?

I booked my trip with a pin code that now has expired and just found out some friends will be at the BC while we are there. I'd like to add a day and possibly change resorts. Can this be done? We're only 3 weeks away from our trip so if we can't change it I guess we could switch resorts and get a room only for our last day...Any advice:confused3

Many times they will let you upgrade your reservation and still get the discount, even after the pin has expired.

The only thing you can do is call and see but I have read of people being able to do this.

I was able to do this last December for our reservation. It just depends on if there are still rooms available under that discount!
 
Well, I was able to add a day to our current reservation...tried to switch to the Beach club, but they said it's not available. I can pull it up under the public % off code, so it must not be available under my pin. Do I have any other options to change my resort? I'm guessing to use a different code, they'd have to cancel and rebook causing me to pay in full since I'm within 45 days and then have to wait for a credit card refund...right?

Once again - if you want to make changes on a closed offer and the CM on the front lines shows zero availability.. ASK FOR GUEST SERVICES.

Most CM's who've been at Disney a while know the drill for making these changes.. many of the newbies - do not.

Guest services ALWAYS does. So ask for them. Trust me .. they can do this IF there is availability.

Nine times out of ten, the front line CM will show zero availability.. because that's how their systems are setup. If they know what to do, they can check the real availability.. but many of them don't yet know those steps.

The G/S folks can always see the true availability on the offer... which - after all is said and done -- STILL may have zero availability.

The CM did transfer me to the Grand Gathering CM...I assume this is different than Guest Services...Maybe I'll try again:thumbsup2
