So very casually I brought up wedding colors again to DF. And by casually I mean a found an inspiration board, enlarged it, and pushed the laptop into his face. I asked his opinion because the last time i brought it up i just kind of explained the colors and he gave me the "whatever you want" response.... I HATE that!!! I'm one of those brides who wants their groom to be involved in all the decisions.... i just can never pin him down long enough to get answer... hense the throwing of the laptop into his face. But I digress, So after seeing a few inspiration boards he came out with.. "yea too girly" He asked if we could maybe make the turquoise, Navy blue instead. He thinks that Seabreeze Point, BW, BC, and YC is very nautical and Navy Blue and white reminds him of nautical stuff. I was impressed with that statement! So I thought about it and the only thing that was kind of a bummer was that i really kind of sorta wanted pink thrown in there. So i did some research and I found this inspiration board. What do you think??

You have the Navy and White... But you also have a deep, dark pink in there too. I showed DF this one and he really liked it... he just wants his tie to be Navy and his bout to be pink. Perfect!

Then after colors were decided I started looking for wedding bands. I had a few issues the past few times we went looking because nothing really popped out at me... and its really hard to match my ring because its such a hgh setting. I got the name of the jewelery store that DF got my engagement ring from and looked on their website. The traditional stuff just doesn't seem to do it for me.... But then i saw this!!!!

I LOOOOOVE it!!!! I probably should've mentioned that I have a thing for Pink Sapphires. They're having a special on it and its only 330$ Which isn't bad considering what else i've looked at.... apparently i have expnsive taste... who knew?! I'm going to show DF this today when he gets home and since Sunday is our 4 year anniversary maybe i can talk him into making a trip down there and buying our wedding bands as our gift to each other. I might be pushing it but we'll see.

I'm going to go get to work now but i'll post some other stuff when i can.... I found some awesome bouquets that i want to share with you girls!

Awe Meghan! You're too funny! I'm still trying to talk DF into it.... at first he was like... "Pink? will that look ok?" But he knows me and he knows that i march to the beat of my own drum so he's starting to come around.

So I checked my email and facebook page like an obsessed person and so far NOBODY has responded to the email i sent out. In the email/facebook message i not only informed them all of the date change but asked for a tentative head count... but i guess i'll just have to be patient and wait to hear from them. But i AM sticking to my plan, if by friday nobody says anything then i'm assuming the date is fine and we're booking!! And by booking i mean, randy, rev. tim/jack, make-up/hair...ect. Can't book disney until 2/2/2010... God that seems like forever!!!

Alright anyway on to a better subject! FLOWERS!!!!

I LOVE calla lilies! They are my favorite! And like i said before, I like to be different. Almost every bride i know had roses. Don't get me wrong they are beautiful and they're a close second, but i like the idea of something different. In trying to stick with minimal upgrades to our escape wedding I found a few pictures of some calla lily bouquets that I like.

I think that this is simple and pretty. We'd just need to darken the pink alittle to match the ones in the big bouquet in my inspiration board.

This bouquet is my favorite, it's big and full and just amazing! I also love the BM bouquet in the picture too!

Anyone have any idea on how much an upgrade like the second picture would cost me? I think the first one is more do-able... its almost the same as the one on the disney wedding website just a different color. Either way i'd be happy, but if it won't cost me an arm and a leg i'd love the second one!

What do you girls think??

I'm a rose girl myself...so my opinion is a little bias...BUT I'm starting to really love calla lillies. You mention that you go to the beat of your own drum...go with the calla lillies!

Thanks! I think i'm definatly going to go with the calla lilies! They are just so pretty I think it'll go nicely with everything that i have picked out so far.

1st your ring, well I am pink sapphire girl too (my e-ring is pink) so I vote Yes, go for it, buy it and make all us pink fans super jealous. Its so pretty! (Happy 4 year btw)

The flowers you picked go so well with your colors! I love calla lilles and think it will look perfect. And you know it may be a bit more, but it shouldn't be outrageous in price. The only thing is Callas are heavy, so you don't want a really big bouquet because you will be lugging around an extra 15 lbs all day ya know

Hey. When I got married, I did not go with one of the escape bouquets. I sent a picture of what I wanted, and there was no upgrade charge. IDK if they changed this or not. I would just send a picture to your planner and see what they say.

My wedding literally just happened. My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets had delphiniums added to the bottom (there is a pic in my TR) and I like Lynn, I was not charged anything extra. Once you get closer to the date and start working with Rosie just send her the picture of what you want and see what she says.

Awe thanks for the info girls! When I spoke to my wedding consultant i asked her about flowers and she said she wasn't 100% sure how they do them and that i'd have to wait until after i've signed the contract to talk to the wedding coordinator about it. I'm going to hafta check your both of your flowers again!

Then I was thinking... hmmm since disney floral didn't charge some of my dis girls extra... what could i do to dress it up alittle bit.

What do you think of the stephanotis in there??? Do you think it'll look good with the deep pink calla lillies or do you think it only looks good because its all white? Be honest! Let me know if you think it won't look good with the deep pink, because i honestly dont know.
