So my sister sleep over is tomorrow night and we're both really excited! She is ready to go crazy with these STD's and we also decided we're going to try and make some custom rhinestone bridal shirts and tank tops. It should be interesting. I was looking around again for some more inspiration and i found some helpful bridal collages.



I love the simple blue and brown cake in this one and I especially love the bouquets!



I like the fans that they have made... I figured I could make something like that and bring them for our guests... you never know.. October could bring some hot weather! And the blue and pink in this collage is exactly the way i envisioned the color scheme.

I can't wait to start getting things in order for the wedding... I dont want to wait about year and 5 months!!!

O0o0o Mandy I love those cakes!!!! The third one is soooo different!!! I showed DF those and he said he likes how the third one looks really chocolate-y. Now he wanst the scroll work escape cake with the colors reversed! Brown cake with turqouise scroll work.... ymmmmm!!!

Good evening ladies! Just wanted to post what we've done so far!

First we made a Bride tank top!

My MOH (DS) giving the thumbs up for a job well done!

Now here are some pictures of me in the dress. **Please note**this dress has NOT been fitted yet and is a size too big. Just bear with me on this....

this next picture I can't stand.... because its big it looks like it is falling off me and i think i look heavy....... and please dont mind the lack of make-up and hair... i was having an off day.

Alright well thats all for now... we're going to go attempt STD's.

I'm totally stealing the second inspiration board you posted with all the tropical stuff on it! I really love the first cake but also the third cake because it's so unique! Looks like your sleep over has been productive so far the tank top is really cute! AND LASTLY.... ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Your dress is so gorgeous! I love how the beading is down the side too... adds just the right amount of glam!

Well is after 10 Oclock and we've finished four STD's and I LOVE how they came out! Their not too fancy but i think they're just right!

This was our supplies.... notice the mickey hole puncher... we didn't end up using it but i'm sure i'll have more uses for it soon!

Here they are after glitter but before ribbon.

All done!!!! The ribbon looks funny in the picture because the glue wasn't dry yet. I know they aren't extremely extravagant or anything but i really like how they came out... the textured card stock, colors, and glitter remind me of the BW and gives that disney feel without being too in your face. What do you girls think?

Our sleep over was a sucess even though i have to say i miss adam terribly. I'm glad you like the dress... i stand funny in it because i'm trying to keep it up without holding it in place... i can't wait until its fitted.

The STD's look great! I have yet to pick a date for our at home stuff, so I have not sent any out yet. I have caught up on most of your pj tonight. I LOVE the dress. I can't believe that you got it at such a steal!!!! It looks similar to mine in the shape - like the V in the back.

Keep the ideas coming! I love to steal ideas from other brides. My colors are blue and pink, so I love the color boards you have been posting. Very inspirational.

Ooo...I just had an idea while looking at your pics. What if you use the mickey punch to make a seal for your STD envelopes. You can just glue it on there.

Steal away! I love stealing from other brides too! I just looked at the picture of you with your home made tiara on and i almost bought the dress you have on! You must have good taste girl!
We are only sending those STD's to the people we want at the escape ceremony, once we are 8 months out and know details we'll send out STD's for the home reception to everyone else. Or atleast thats the plan... we may not... we may just send out invitations a month or two out. We'll see though.

Thank you!! I'm glad people are getting the effect of the gown even though its too big. And i'm glad you like the STD's i was afraid people might think they're not fancy enough but i'm glad i'm getting good feed back from my DIS girls!

I agree that the glitter definatly makes the STD's!! I've been calling it pixie dust instead of glitter... sounds more disney I think the invites will be alittle more extravagant... so i can't wait to make them!
