Activities at other Resorts

Hello All, We have a planned trip coming in 28 days!

A question as I final up our plan for the off day from the parks.

Are you permitted to partake in other resorts activities? For example, Art of Animation has a drawing "class" or session with an Artist. From what I have read, it is similar to what was at HS over the last few years till they recently removed it.

If my family and I are staying at ASMu, can we go to any resorts and take part in the activities? I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Interesting... I usually hop to and from all-star music to movies and sports from night to night depending on movie playing or pool activities list but never thought about going to other resorts.
Never even been to Art of Animation

It depends on the activities, though.

Stuff like the AoA drawing class, or the Animal Kingdom Lodge nighttime viewing off the observation area? Sure.

Poolside activities are covered by the pool hopping ban, which is to say nope.

Going amongst the All-Star Resorts for their activities isn't a comparable example, because they share amenities (including pools, I believe), much as the two Port Orleans resorts share.

But you can't show up at the Poly and do the poolside activities there, because you need to be a resort guest to be poolside.

I'm good with that. After parks and the heat we are fine with our own resort pools. And yes Music ,Sports and Movies have 2 pool each so with easy access to 6 pools that are shared plus 3 arcades and 3 food courts and pool games at all 3 to share.

Great, thanks everyone. My DD and DW will be excited to hear or maybe I'll surprise them.

As others have said, we really do not feel the need to hop pools. We enjoy the back pool at ASMu. As it seems a little quieter.

Yes you can. Resorts show different movies at night so onetime when we were at the BC we walked over to the BWI since the kids wanted to watch the movie that they were playing there.
