Activating MYW Pass - some advice please

Not sure if on the right forum but hoping someone can help or advise.

We have 2 reservations for August, first 18/19th August and then 20th August onwards (bounceback free dining). We have purchased the 10 day MYW passes with water parks, park hopper etc

We fly in late on the 18th so that evening is not an issue. I was wondering, are we allowed to use the passes with the with the first booking i.e on the 19th August. The 2 bookings are linked on the Disney system to avoid changing rooms.

My gut feeling tells me no, but as we hope to have the same magic bands I am not sure if anyone has done anything like this before.

If we can't its fine we have already planned to go shopping, downtown disney etc. If we can it would be nice as we always goto Magic Kingdom on our first full day

You can active and use WDW resort package park tickets up to 3 days before check-in date.
Just take your resort info to a Guest Relations outside any park or at DTD.

If they are part of the package that begins on the 20th then no, you cannot use them until the 20th

If they are generic 10 day Park hoppers then you can start using them today if you want to...though they will expire in 14 days from first use...

Nope. Robo was right. You can start using package tickets ahead of the package check-in date (up to 3 days early).
