Has anyone activated their AP at the airport Disney store? I could swear that I read it was possible but can't confirm it. Here's my dilemma: We arrive in Orlando around 6 and are taking the ME to the Poly. We have ADRs at Ohana at 9. I have to get my AP activated in order to check in with my AP rate. What can I do?!

Thanks,

NB

NB, the CM's at check in are very accomodating. I'm sure if you show them your voucher they will allow you to check in, then just bring your activated AP by the next morning. When we checked in at the YC that's what they did, I just walked over to the International Gateway to EPCOT and activated it. Since then I have never been asked to show it. THey told me at the YC, that's okay, we trust you! If they make you show the activated one to check in the guest relations at DTD is open late.

I don't think your AP has to be activated to check in, usually a voucher will work and they may ask you to return with the AP when you have it.

From what I have read previously, you can not activate your pass at the Disney Store but you can buy an activated pass there.
When I checked into the ASMU this past July, I just showed them my voucher, I was not asked to bring back my activated pass.

The Disney stores at the airport can't activate passes.

The OFFICIAL policy is that you need an activated pass to check in. IF that policy is enforced, they will usually give you 24 hours to come back with an activated pass. ESPECIALLY if you explain your circumstances.

Don't worry about it.
