Activating AP at Epic

Can I activate my new AP in front of Epic Universe? I don’t want to enter a park I just want to activate my AP tonight so I don’t have to do it at rope drop tomorrow. Thanks!

No I paid with flexpay so they said I have to go to the front of a park to activate it. Wasn’t sure if I could go to epic to activate a pass for the other two parks.

I don't have an answer for your specific situation. For us, we went to the ticket counter at the hotel to print out the plastic AP. Then we scan those at the park entrance and have our pictures taken for their database. The act of scanning activates the pass.

Since the AP is for UO/IOA, I doubt you can have it activated at Epic, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I called Universal last week and was told no, that it could only be activated at a park where it was valid for admission.

Yeah with Flex you have to go to guest services to pick up the AP.

Its possible you could pick it up at guest services at Epic, but you cant actually activate it till you enter a park with the AP.

Most likely you will need to pick it up at Guest services at Studios or IOA.
Even then its not activated till you enter the park.

I stopped doing Flex just because of that hassle. Guest services can take a while, but there is paperwork for you to sign.
