Yesterday DD and I went to Sea World. We decided to catch the Shamu Show. Shamu was being a "diva" and decided she did not really want to perform, although she did a few "stunts". It was twilight, and I was trying to get some photos. First I didn't have the best vantage point, so I need to rethink my location the next time, but I failed miserably getting good clear photos.
What settings should I use? I have done very little with manual settings on my S2-IS, with the exception of using the SCN setting where I have night shot, fireworks, indoor, beach, foliage.
I find it much more difficult now that they are changing the stadium for a new show. In the past they had a giant video screen which showed what was happening in the pool, including under water, so I could watch to see when the whales were going to make their dramatic jumps, etc.
Okay, if anyone has any tips, I would appreciate it. I think we are headed back over tomorrow afternoon/evening, maybe we can catch a daylight show, and this won't be an issue, but just in case........
