DBF can be Dear Best Friend or Dear Boyfriend.

Makes it interesting when someone says their DD is bringing her DBF. Especially if a separate room is being discussed. I always have a "Wow. Definitely more permissive than my parents!" thought. (Though in some cases, that may well be.)

Not to resurrect an old thread ... but I cannot find an Acronym for:
- Grand Dad / Parent
- Grand Mom (or in our case Grammy - like the awards)
- Grand Son



But I'm thinking:
- DGD / DGP
- DGM
- DGS

You can also just spell out whoever it is you are talking about.
