When the real itching/scratching/licking starts is when his hair starts to grow back so keep an eye out for that. Glad to hear he is doing well.

Glad he is doing well. When Baxter had surgery he was also irritated from the razor burn They told me to put Triple Antibiotic Ointment on it and by the next day there was alot of improvement. He had to wear his e-collar at all times for two weeks - poor thing. Then after the stitches came out he had to wear it also. Unfortunately we just found out the pin in Baxter's bone is moving. We are watching it for 4 weeks but it may have to be removed. I hate to have to go thru another round of this but what can you do

I'm glad he's feeling good. i'm sure it will be sore for a bit, but hopefully this will fix the problem and he can get back to normal soon.
