Today is 180 days. I have meticulously planned our days and meals. I rented DVC points and have the confirmation number. I am trying to book our meals at more than 180 days and for whatever reason the disney website says this
We were unable to confirm your resort reservation. Please check the details of your reservation and try again, or call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

however, when I go to the DVC site and put in our reservation number it's there. I'm not questioning if it's still there or not :) but why is the main disney site not accepting it. Am I doing something wrong or is there somewhere else I need to be trying to book my ADR's???

Please help!

i am having the same problem. staying at AKL also and it won't accept my confirmation #. get the same message. i have heard from other disers that the disney site is not very reliable. i have had problems with it in many areas. it's frustrating and you wonder why such a major corp. cannot get it's site down right.

keep trying but most likely it's just best to call. not a big deal but somewhat frustrating.

it's a glitch that seems to effect some users.

on my 180 day several months ago I couldn't access the system under my reservation. I just waited the extra time and called in. I ended up with everything I wanted within 10 minutes of when I wanted.

I added a couple of things on a later date through the auto system so it must have been a temporary glitch with the computer - or me.

I would just call, even tho that is very frustrating also, but you do get to talk to a human in the end. Disney has the worst online anything. It does not matter if it is for the parks, shopping or dinning. They need someone with some IT knowledge to fix all of their sites. I just hate having to tell them everytime my life history to get anywhere. If it was anyone but Disney, I would say "I'm done" and go elsewhere. But since we are all a "lost cause" when it comes to Disney, we put up with it.

I agree with PP that I would just call.

I have to say, though, that Disney HAS gotten a lot better with their online presence. Not all the way there yet, but WAY better. They did make same significant senior level IT hires in the past couple of years and it's finally starting to show. :)

I have repeatedly had issues with this. Last trip I just waited and booked one day at a time as we hit the 180 days. They were not super popular places so I was not worried. This next trip I was worried so I called.

Same thing happened to me. I finally deleted all the "cookies" in my computer and it worked fine.

When we were at 180 days for our upcoming December trip, I was having the same problem when using Internet Explorer as my web browser. I switched to Google Chrome and it worked great. I've also noticed this still happening since that first time and always have to use Chrome if I want to make changes or add ADRs. It might be worth a try.

Thanks everyone. I called right at 7, but I still managed to lose my 8:05 am for Crystal Palace on our 10th day :( I got everything else that I wanted, and Crystal Palace for 8:20...it's going to be an interesting sprint to Rapunzel lol I'll just make the kids eat quickand have Dh stay behind to pay :D

Also the kids were up by then and since we are surprising them with this trip, it made it very difficult to be getting them ready for school and booking ADRs at the same time!

If it's any consolation, I hear that the lines for Rapunzel haven't been as bad since Flynn stopped appearing!
