Ack! Ticket help, pretty please?

I have a problem (one of those soooo sad problems involving making trips to WDW... I almost feel bad calling it a 'problem'. But anyway...). We're going to Disney in a couple-ish weeks, and we got the Winter Dream Maker package. We weren't planning on going back for a while (that's why we are taking this trip, to get one in before a couple Disney-less years ).
But now, my Mom has insisted that we go to Disney next Xmas. She wants to go for ACTUAL Xmas, a little scary, but we can handle it. That's two trips in less than a year- and here is the question (I could keep rambling if you want, but I guess I'll just get to it): is there any way to upgrade to an AP when you have a UPH that you got with a package? I'm thinking no, but if anyone knows of a way I can do it, I'd love you forever.

We have someone working on this specific question (and it applies to a bunch of us at the Unofficial Guide). So far the answer's been no, but it's been a coy no.

Disney's always been very firm (translation: inflexible) when it comes to tinkering with package components. They are not conciliatory at all. The CM may be coy but the computer isn't. It won't allow it to be done.

Golden Oldie speaks the truth. The ticketing system computers will not allow length-of-stay tix to be upgraded. Best case scenario: the computer pops up w/ a "no can do." Worst case scenario: the computer freezes up, shuts itself down, and has to be rebooted.
They don't like it.

Eh, these are the responses I expected. I had to ask, though! I guess I'll just figure out later what tickets to buy (there's plenty of time for that!). I don't know if we'll ever have our acts together and know in advance if we're going again that year... but I guess we should never completely discount the possibilty. Live and learn!
