It made me jump just now. It sounded like someone was knocking on my windows, all of them at once.

Anyway, the track is open for the Brickyard 400.

My Church New Life Ministries is in the old Lazarus Building at Lafayett Square Mall. I'm staying far farrr away from that area today.

During the last race I was stuck in the mall parking lot for over 30minutes. When we did turn on Lafayette Road it was a mad house. We sat on Lafayette Road for another good 35-40 minutes. What's even worse you have to go alllllllllllllll the way around the stupid detours just to get your house

The kicker was yesterday when going down Georgetown Road. This white guy was crossing the street after the light turned red. He looked at me and said Nigg@# Stop!!!

"I said look you raggedly hillbilly if you want to see a Nigg%^ go back to your backwoods trailer and look in the mirror.

He had such a shocked facial expression on his face he turned around and scurried across the street mumbling something.

edit to add: no offense to people who live in trailers

Pongo, go shopping while you're there. I work next door at Ayres in handbags or fashion jewelry. not today though. lol

btw, I hate it when people act like that jerk. Maybe your suggestion made him think a little.

BTW, I know your happy not being in that crowd today. If I didn't have to drive out to Brownsburg to pick my dd up I wouldn't leave at all

Yes, I am very glad I don't have to be out in the traffic today. If I have to go out, I'll make sure an do it in an hour or so, right in the middle of the race.
