We leave for Disney on the 12th. My wife has been suffering with pain in her foot primarily caused by Spur protrudiing into her Achilles tendon. Doctor refused to give her a cortizone shot as he says it is to risky. His only advice was for her to bring her walking boot if she felt any pain. My concerns for my wife is that her pain will get unbearable and her vacation ruined due to the pain. We have agreed that if she was in alot of pain we would take frequent rest breaks and even rent a electic cart for her. She may also be suffering from Plantar issue as well.
Can anyone suggest comfortable shoes that will not rub the back of her heel and that give support for her arch. I would be more at ease if she would just commit to wearing the walking boot full time as I know it gives her the best chance to enjoy herself but does limit her movement.
Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
