Ace of Cakes

Just been watching a programme on UKTVFOOD called Ace of cakes. There is a cake making company based in Baltimore and you name it they can make it as a cake.

They have just made a Cinderella Pumpkin Coach Cake, with a white horse and it was sooo cool .

I'm on their website all the time and I love the show, it's a shame UK TV doesn't have it on more often, especially since it's now on series 5!

I'm a cake designer too so it's always good to see 'how the other half lives', but the regulations over here are a bit stricter in terms of what non edible items you can stick into a cake so we can't get away with nearly as much as he can!!!

Just been on their web site. Some of the cakes are amazing if a little quirky. My DH's sister does a lot of sugarcraft Wedding cakes etc, its just a hobby but I know how much hard work does go into these kind of cakes. Its so interesting to see how these things are made.
But at $1000 for a cake I dont think I will be buying one anytime soon

I know, a $1000 for a novely cake is a bit extreme but hey, when you are who you are you can charge what you like.

I also like the fact that he will do cakes for family and friends for free but they don't get a say in what he creates but if they want specifics then they have to pay.

I must have to try that one!

I looked out for a repeat and it was on late last night,it was very good-i also carried on watching and saw the Fire Truck they done as well .The detail is absolutley amazing.x.
