Hi Michelle! I was livid at that bus driver. He better be glad we were on our way to meet Ms. Lucci!! I love that slapping smiley too .

The breakfast food at the Brown Derby for Susan's breakfast was good. We always have a good time there, Bill wants to do it again. Bill's mom really loved that picture of Bill with Susan. She is always so sweet to everyone.

I would've kicked that driver! I know, I know, violence doesn't solve anything, but the way he disrespected you and Bill was not right. And so early in the morning! Can you imagine how grouchy he was by noon?

What a great picture of Bill and Susan! What a beautiful woman. Your breakfast looked yummy too.

How bad are the crowds at these events? I'd personally love to attend a Star Wars weekend, but I'm scared of maneuvering through all those people with a chair. And then I worry about THOSE PEOPLE too. But maybe we'll try to go one year.

It's amazing how self-centered some people can be. The driver's bad mood should have in no way affected your trip. (I can also bet that the driver's problems and inconveniences pale in comparison to Bill's. That driver should be thankful that he is able to help you all. Rude, rude man!)
On another note, how teeny tiny is Susan Lucci? She looks like you could tip her over just by breathing on her. Is that what we call healthy? I almost needed one of these to see her!

Love the update. DH hates that I watch soaps, but has a huge crush on Susan Lucci. In my TR I talked about seeing Laura Wright (Carly - GH). I passed her as we were leaving TOT and her and her family were getting on. My mom is yelling out Carly, Carly! I said mom that's not her name and she's with her family, leave her alone. But I have to admit I was a bit starstruck! DH says I don't see the big deal, I said "What if it was Susan Lucci?" He says "Well that's different!" Of course it is!

Anyway - can't wait to hear more. I tried to poke my head in Kassies CD signing but I couldn't see anything!

Hi Chelle!! I understand about the updates. I don't think a ton of pixie dust would have helped that bus driver. We did have a great time at the breakfast. There are a lot of the same people that go every year and we are starting to get to know people there now.

Hi MagiKitty. You seem pretty fiesty, I wouldn't put it past you to kick the driver . He must not be a happy person.

Susan is even more pretty in person and she is a sweet woman. I liked the breakfast food, Bill not so much. Super Soap Weekend crowds are big, I hear Star Wars Weekends crowds are huge too. I find it really does help to have a plan in place before you go. You should try one of the weekends at least once. As you can tell we like it, we are going again in November for the 3rd year in a row.

Hi BrittBritt! Yes the bus driver was very rude. Some times people don't understand how good they have things. He should be thankful he isn't in a wheelchair.

Hi Laura! Laura Wright was hilarious during the motorcade interviews, she looks so lively. It was a little cramped for Kassie's signing. That shop is very small. I will do that update tomorrow.

Sounds like your day at MGM was great! But dinner at Boma , not so much? Was it the food or just the fact that they weren't very accomodating to Bill?

You maintained your composure much better than I would have with the bus driver! I probably would have called him out and made him feel as small as he was .

.... I can't say how Kathy felt about the meet, she might not like me at all after she met me , but we adored their family. They were very kind and friendly. You are right about DISers being very sweet people.

You are such a silly goose for even thinking that!!!! Listen, just because a few yawns slipped out toward the end of the night doesn't mean I was bored, just sleepy! Of course I liked you (and Bill) very much... and I'm sorry we weren't able to spend even more time together.

I'm all caught up on your report now... and I'm really hoping Bill's ankle is feeling somewhat better. I'm so sorry you will miss the June visit; I know how much Bill would enjoy Star Wars Weekend. But, it does sound like you've made the right decision.
