Tracy what a great update. I've seen her in many interviews and she always comes across as such a warm person. I loved that she hugged you. As a parent to a disabled person, you probably gave her hope and I bet she remembers you guys just as long as you remember her.

We ate at 50s too, coming up in the next installment of FlatSharon's TR. She had Picnic Punch and it didn't go over well. Maybe she should have had what you guys drank instead.

I don't really know Kassie but after what she said to you I'm now one of her biggest fans. How wonderful was that? Almost makes up for the bus driver from "hades".

Glad you enjoyed Prime Time. It's one of our favorite restaurants. I think my dh would travel to Florida just to have one of their PB&J shakes. We've been fortunate to have some awesome servers when we've been there.

Once we were there with 11 family members and our server was in character like Jerry Lewis in the Nutty Professor. He was hysterical. He gave all eleven of us nicknames like Skippy and Princess and called us by those names throughout our dinner. Even our little nieces still call my dh Skippy from time to time.

I am trying to wrap this up because we are going to try to go to at least one concert before Bill's surgery and then we have a couple of baseball games to go to in late summer. I also have to start planning our November trip to WDW.

(This is all SSW stuff, if you don’t like the ABC soaps you will probably be completely, utterly bored)

We were on a bus by 7am again ready to see who we could. I had a plan of who we would try to get pictures of. The fast pass line for autographs was almost back to the busses . There was NO way we were going to try that.

Our first stalking victim of the day… "Sexy Rexy" Rex Balsom (OLTL), John-Paul Lavoisier. He showed up in a “Bo” tee shirt and plaid pj bottoms. He was funny, personable, and great to watch. We didn’t get too close.

Next person to hunt for was Zach Slater (AMC), Thorsten Kaye. Oh my goodness, there was no way of getting anywhere near him. No one was moving, they had him kind of in a corner and there wasn't going to make Bill maneuver through all those fans.

Kendall Hart Slater (AMC), Alicia Minshew was next on our list. On the way to see her we saw Antonio Vega (OLTL), Kamar de los Reyes and took his picture.

Then we saw Marcie McBain (OLTL), Kathy Brier at her station. She looked stunning with the darker hair.

We get over to Alicia’s station and were told she was sick and would not be there that morning (actually she was sick the entire day and didn’t come on Saturday).

The next person up at her station was Nash (OLTL), Forbes March. Bill wanted to stay for him because we had last years picture with us and was hoping to get it signed. He wasn’t supposed to be there for another hour and I was thirsty. There were no drink carts anywhere near there so Bill stayed while I went in search for soda and water. On this quest I wasn’t finding anything open. I found myself not to far from Zach, Thorsten Kaye and decided to brave the crowds, it was so packed. Here is the best picture I got:

I finally found a cart open and went back to Bill, there were several people lining up to see Forbes. You meet so many nice people there at SSW and then you meet some rude ones .

People seemed to have trouble seeing Bill’s wheelchair and were trying to cut in front of him. One particularly rude young woman was telling people how much she “knew” the actors. She had been at an event in NYC the week before and had seen and talked to most of the people at SSW. She got out her pics and bragged that she had been in soap magazines 5 times. She also told us she had been at Disney Studios since 8pm the night before and had gotten 7 fast passes, that’s right I said 7.

The park is not supposed to open until 8am, there were rumors that they were giving fast passes out at 6am. It is not possible to have Bill there all night or to be there at 5am, that just will not happen and actually shouldn’t have to happen. I think it is insane how they have this set up.

The woman went on and on about how she “knew” all of them. Well, the time for Forbes finally came, we got to see his daughter, she looks a lot like him around the eyes, she was beautiful. He would talk, do autographs, and take pictures with the fast pass people, but then would walk up to the barricade and sign and take pics with the people standing around. She kept yelling at him, telling him she had to go see Bree (Jessica, OLTL), but would be back. He kept signing and didn’t respond. She then put her bag on the ground, but it wasn’t on the ground it was on Bill’s foot. He tapped my arm and pointed down. I said “could you please move your bag?” She glared at me and said she would be leaving soon. I said “you need to move the bag now, it is on his feet”. She glared again, but moved the bag.

She was still trying to get Forbes attention, he was still not responding. She tried to get closer to the barricade, which put her rear end on Bill’s tray for his wheelchair. It was made by his Dad. It is plexiglass. That is part of his personal space and I had had enough. I said “excuse me, please move off his tray now”. She said “I am leaving in a minute”. Here is where I wanted to hit her, I had ENOUGH. I said “I don’t care - get off of it right now, it bothers him .” About that time she yelled at Forbes again and he looked at her like whatever and told her to tell Bree hi. Another lady saw how upset I was and said “Well she seems to feel that she knows these people, that is probably why she acted like that”. I said “knowing someone does not give you the right to be rude and invade someone’s space”. As you can tell I am very protective of Bill and that was just too much for me.

Forbes started walking toward the barricade again and came up to Bill and I and said “I remember you”, he took the picture from last year and signed it. He said “hi” to Bill and asked how he was doing. We got the picture back and asked people to move out of the way so Bill and I could get out of there.

We decided to go get lunch at Backlot Express and hang out where the stars used to come in and out of last year. Disney has added a “Jedi Training Academy” right by Star Tours, so they have changed where the stars stayed between shows . If anyone knows the new route of where they go in and out of PLEASE tell us the secret!!

After lunch we walked around and took pics of Starr (OLTL), Kristen Alderson and Vicki (OLTL), Erika Slezak.

We then headed back over to where Todd (OLTL), Trevor St. John was going to be. A guard let us know that Trevor doesn’t interact with the crowd much, he focuses on the people with the fast passes. If he looked our way make sure you get the picture because he might not look again.

Boy, was he right, I did get a picture though:

We decided to go see Kassie DePaiva again. She is so tiny and beautiful in person. My opinion, all the stars looked better in person. We got over there, she was joking with the crowd, talking to everyone. People in front of us took pictures then left, Bill got up to the barricade. Kassie was waiting for her next fast pass person and waved at Bill. It made his day again.

It was time to go see John McBain (OLTL), Michael Easton. He was great, he joked around, signed pictures and calendars for people in the crowd. We were pretty far back. Most of the time people will be up front, take a couple of pictures and go. Not for Michal Easton, no one was moving. We stood there for 20 minutes and Bill couldn’t see anything.

We decided to go, but then saw an opening about as far from Michael as you could get. His time was coming to an end and he got within 6 feet of us and his handler made him leave. So close, yet so far away.

Next up at the same station was our favorite Tad (AMC), Michael E. Knight. It was warm that day and he had on a suit jacket, he took it off and the crowd screamed. He laughed and said “shut up”.

He kept talking to everyone and signing autographs. He made his way over to our side and started talking to us. He loved the picture from last year and said “you could drive a truck through my nostrils”.

He then took a picture with both of us and thanked us for coming back.

We were tired and decided to just go back to Pop get dinner and relax. Bill also needed to check on his fantasy football teams on the internet . (At the end of the football season he won his division and got $50 .)

Next installment… Watch out for the scooter lady and why is the wheelchair seating a mess?

Wow - what a fun event - I recognized a few of the faces from back in the day when I used to have time for soaps. I used to watch some in college and then when I got into the real world and had to get a job I would tape them and watch them at night. But then the kids came along and it had to stop - funny thing is now I'm home most of the day with the kids - but I won't let myself get hooked again. I watched the ABC soaps so some of the faces look familiar.

That woman was so rude! I don't know why, but some people have to act important to feel better about themselves. They don't realize that they are making themselves look stupid. I hope you don't run into anymore of these people! Between the bus driver and this lady you guys are meeting all of the meanies!

I spent 10 years working at a NASCAR track...and believe me I have seen my share of "rabid" fans but that soap "fan" takes the cake. Being annoying is one thing but invading personal space is another! I'm not one to hold my tonge either.

Hi! Love the update. I don't mean to hijack, just wanted to tell a quick story. We were at the Yacht Club Nov 06 during SSW. My kids were swimming with a little boy and he seemed to be all alone. We got talking to him and he said his dad was at MGM signing autographs. It turns out he was Kamar's son. He was beautiful! I so wanted to take his picture, but since I wouldn't want strangers taking pictures of my kids, I didn't. He was very sweet and told us that he travels the country with Dad but lives with his mom, who is a model!

A few minutes later his Dad's GF (now wife) came to check on him. It was Keri from OLTL. She is gorgeous in person. Anyway - just had to share because he was a cutie!

Can't wait to hear more...
