We love the Muppets 3-D too. I just wish they had more merchandise to buy.

Me too-I absolutely love the Muppets. My kids like those Muppet PVC figures. We bought some in DL several years ago, but my kids wore them out playing so much with them. When we go again next month, I'll see if they still have them-they didn't have them at WDW. Their Muppet merchandise selection really does needs to be expanded!

I call it MGM too. Probably always will-it just seems to roll off the tongue better than oh-what's the name of that park now? It just popped out of my head!! Disney's MGM Studios??? Anyway, it's MGM to me too!

Hi Linnie!! It is so hard to call it Disney Hollywood Studios. I will get used to it some day.

If I never made it for rope drop at MGM, it'll be ok with me. That is a boring pre-show, although there was a funny moment when the directed was talking to me on our last day at MGM! Kind of embarrassed me.

We have never seen a pre-show . I don't know if we ever will.I would have been totally embarrassed.

I've never seen Beauty & the Beast. It looks awesome-your seats looked really good!!

We love the Beauty and the Beast show, Bill says he doesn't mind if we see it every time we go to WDW.

Sometimes people say how sad it is that I have a child that is disabled. I've generally given up trying to make them see that it is a gift b/c they just don't "get" it. This incident probably seems like no big deal to other parents-Trey was 6 at the time, but to me, I was in the presence of a miracle. I was so happy that night, but I still won't go back to Boma. I just didn't like it. Too noisy, I didn't like the atmosphere or the odd foods they had and our server was horrible.

You are right about some people not "getting it". I would say you were so happy because he thought he recognized someone. That was a huge thing for him. I would have been happy too.

I know its goofy of me, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Beauty and the Beast. Last time, we had the super up close seats too. I always cry!

Good to hear about Boma! I guess we won't go there either, if its as narrow and difficult to maneuver as some people have said. We're hoping to catch free dining and we'll be relying on your reviews before we make our ADRs!

My mother got the 40% postcard last week...I called Disney and asked if I had a code, they said no. The offer is non-transferable, so it has been irking me for days. But I still hope! We'd love to stay onsite, but if its a matter of budget, the hotel is the first thing we sacrifice.

Hi MagiKitty! It is not goofy of you to LOVE Beauty and the Beast, we love it too. I wish there was more merchandise for the Muppets too, but Bill has went crazy getting Muppets hidden Mickey cast pins lately. I will have to take a picture and post them.

I don't think I will ever get a discount again . We stay at Pop to be budget minded, we really liked it. We also book the trip pretty far in advance and have the tickets, room, and dining paid for before we ever get there. It takes a lot off my mind to do it that way.

I know who this woman is!!!! I am from St. Louis and I am pretty sure I know who this woman is! BTW, I just discovered your TR about 2 days ago and I am LOVING it!!!! You two are the PERFECT couple! I am up to about page 35 and I look forward to reading the entire report.

BTW, my name is Michelle (I am a Pooh-size gal myself) and I have an almost 5 year old daughter with autism. I mentioned this because I believe you wrote earlier that Bill works in a camp where there are children with autism. I think that is wonderful! The two of you are so giving and such an inspiration.

Hi Michelle, thank you so much for your kind words. Bill has worked several times at that camp. Then the director decided Bill wouldn't be able to do much there, it broke Bill's heart. Children with Autism are very special to our hearts. We adore them.

I have no clue, I just met her in the St. Louis airport and saw her one day at MGM (Disney Hollywood Studios).

Since we aren't going to Disney around his birthday, I am buying us tickets for 3 baseball games in August so he can see his Dodgers.

Our soap adventure actually begins the day before Super Soap Weekend because of Susan Lucci’s Chat Club Breakfast.

We hopped on a bus Friday November 9th bright and early. We were the only people in line. I told the bus driver about the lime green ribbons being the ONLY places on the wheelchair that the restraints should be hooked too. He listened to me about the back ones, but when it came time to hook onto the front he started hooking them to Bill’s foot rests. These are detachable and not acceptable places to put the restraints. I said “excuse me you can not put them there, please put them where the lime green ribbons are.” The bus driver looked at me and said in a mean voice “Get in here and show me” he then threw the hook on the floor of the bus . I was in between crying and being so mad I could slap him

, I walked past him and put my finger on the ribbon and said “there”. He put hook on and didn’t say a word. He walked up to the front of the bus.

(Looking back on this I would have done a couple things differently. If we were just going to the park and not the breakfast I would have insisted he just unhook Bill and we would not ride with him. I also would have went back into Pop and asked who I should talk to. I didn’t know we could just call the transportation department from your room either. I did write a letter when we got home and got an “I’m sorry” letter from Disney.)

The driver even turned off the MGM music - that made me mad too, we wanted to hear it . I usually thank the bus drivers over and over again when they are letting Bill off the bus, I didn’t say one word to this man.

I had to take a picture of the Christmas tree:

We went to bag check and got in line for the breakfast. They had said on Susan’s fan club site there would only be 110 tickets, but when we got our wristbands Bill was 149 and I was 150. They took us in groups to the Hollywood Brown Derby. On our way up to the door I saw Erika Slezak (Vicki Davidson from One Life to Live) walking right past us, I said “Hello Ms. Slezak”, she smiled nodded and said “Good Morning”. I was in shock so there is no picture.

They didn’t put us where they did last year, we were on the main floor at the very back of the restaurant. It was not a good view at all for Bill and I wasn’t happy at the time. The waiters kept tripping on the back of his chair (even Mickey Mouse tripped on it later). We did meet several people from last year’s breakfast and made some new friends that were sitting across from us. We would see them several times during the weekend. The tables were set with a fruit plate for each person and Danishes and muffins were available too. The gift bags were already in our seats. Here is all the stuff that was in the gift bags:

Susan came out with Mickey Mouse and thanked everyone for coming (there are no pictures of this because of us being so far back and everyone standing up when she came in). They started lining people up to meet her. Then the waitresses came out with more breakfast food:

Everyone at the table chit chatted since we really couldn’t see her through all the people. The emcee came up and said since Bill would have trouble coming up to Susan he would bring her back at the end if that would be ok with us. We said that would be fine, this meant we would be last again this year. I didn’t see her husband Helmut anywhere which was really odd, because he is usually there.

Lisa and Virginia, our new friends got to go up to meet Susan and Virginia asked her where Helmut was, Susan said he was under the weather. Lisa and her mom Virginia got asked by photographers to get their picture taken because they were wearing “Susan Lucci for President” tee shirts. They were so cute.

People started leaving and I saw that the line was almost done. We waited patiently for Susan. She stopped to talk to another woman on the far end of the table then came to us.

I had her autograph the pictures from last year she loved it that we brought them. In the gift bags there were little bags with her picture so I had her autograph one of them to Bill’s mom. Then she took a picture with Bill. She said “Bill, I am just going to sit on your lap”. She sat right next to him on the tray that is on the wheelchair. He was grinning from ear to ear.

I was so stupid I got tongue tied around her that I forgot to get a picture with her. How dumb is that ??

It was a great start to the morning. We had all been discussing meeting Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer from One Life To Live) later in the day because she was going to be there signing her CD. I was so excited to see her close up .
