I only read the first page but I'm pretty sure I ran into you on the bus from Pop Century to Epcot. I sat on the bus seat with you. I have to say, I totally misread you on two counts- I thought that your fiance was your brother SORRY! and the second, hopefully less offensive part, you definitely DO NOT look old enough to be mom to a teenager!! I thought you were my age (27). I hope you guys are having a great rest of your trip!!

I just found your tr and just had to post my reply even though I've only read one installment. I am sitting hear near tears because my son has cp and I hope and pray everyday that when he is older that he will find someone to look past his disability and see him for the wonderful person that he is. Right now he is in kindergarten, and we are now facing many years of childhood where other kids might not be so excepting of him. Although many of his peers at this age see that he is different, they still love him. He has made so many friends this year at school and is really starting to come out of his shell socially. My son is very aware that he is different so for the longest time he would barely speak to anyone. Even his twin sister. But now that his speech is becoming clearer, his confidence has been boosted. Your relationship with your fiance gives a little peace to my mind that one day my son will find an angel who will love him for him. Thanks for sharing your story.

I know exactly how you feel! As that is how I felt when I first started reading this. My CP angel is in kindergarten also!

Yes he loves Kinder and has a lot of friends. He's got a group of friends in his class that look out for him. When he falls, they help him up and right now they watch out for him, bumping his ears. It's mostly girls!!! There is only 1 boy that just doesn't care but everyone else is pretty good with him. He has a teacher that has a hearing impaired son and she taught special ed for @13 years before she started reg. k. It really helps. She is great with Braeton and the only prob. I've got with her is that she spoils him a little too much!!! Pretty good prob. to have. She let Braeton explain to the kids at the begining of the year what CP was. In his words "I've got Sarahbull Paulzie. It's like a four wheeler that backfires you know goes POW. So sometimes I don't start up right and sometimes my legs get the fuzzies. But I can walk see?!! And then he wobbled across the room. Now he's been having to use his walker and sometimes his w/chair pretty often and once they realized that he just had to have help sometimes, but he was still Braeton they have been great with it.
Braeton calls his legs FuzZie like Bill calls his arm Wild thing! We've never met Mrs.ksomeday nor Bill, but we feel a kinship with them!!

Hi Tracy and Bill! I'm glad to hear you made it home safe and sound. I'm so happy I got to meet you and Bill - to bad it had to be as we were all checking out of the Pop! You are just as sweet and friendly as I expected from reading your trip reports. Bill's got the sweetest smile but was a little bashful I think. Of course if I heard some crazy woman shouting my name from across the courtyard I'd probably run the other way.

Can't wait to hear more about your trip and to see some of your photos. I got quite a few of Thorsten Kaye (sigh). He's even better looking in person!

Kimmy - Ace was so happy to see us, he has been sleeping like crazy ever since he got home.

Jordan - I got a couple of glances at him , but my real dream man was with me the whole trip .

As for the bad news in my last installment that was about Bill having to retake that test with 4 less days than everyone else....
