Wow! What a great update. That just confirms my belief that there are a lot of terrific people on these boards.

There are FANTASTIC people on these boards and I thought that before we got that wonderful package from apirateslife4evr .

Loved the pics of all your Disney paperwork - I've got mine too!!! I never thought about taking photos of it -duh! I'm making a scrapbook for my bb so I guess I'd better drag the camera out and get started.

And those mousekeeping envelopes - awesome!

I copied the idea for taking pics from other people on the DIS . Thank you for the compliments on the mousekeeping envelopes. I am thinking of doing other designs, lol. Bill says "why they are just going to rip them open for the tip?" I said I liked doing it.

Loved little Ace with the whole punch on his nose. What a cutie!

Ace is a nut, I am going to miss him so much when we are in Disney. He is currently laying by the balcony door, scratching at the screen with his tail wagging like crazy because a leaf blew up right by him.


We are going to be at WDW in 16 days, I am going to start packing some things this weekend. OCDish?? Possibly, but I want to be ahead of the game this trip. I keep telling myself "make this trip relaxing, make this trip relaxing" over and over again - hoping to make myself calm down this trip .

Will it happen?? Who knows .

Ok lurkers, I am lonely - why not say hi to me? I am friendly, can be funny occasionally, and love talking Disney. Isn't that why we are all here?

I have gone crazy taking pictures of things for the trip. I have no idea why and Bill is laughing at me daily for it. I make something for the trip and say "Oh I have to take a picture" and then he cackles at me. You all think he is soooo sweet, but the man is mean, I tell you he is mean to me .

I read on someone's pre trip report about stickers at the Dollar Tree, it was embeded in my brain and I had to go in search of them. The first picture is of a yellow notebook which will be my trip journal.

Plain yellow notebook............... $1.00
Mickey and Minnie stickers........ $1.00
Writing down Disney memories... priceless headache: yeah I know it was corny, but thought I would go for it)

Here is the trusty multicolored spiral notebook index cards with all the "trip goals", plans, and ADR confirmation #'s. Please excuse what looks like lines, it is from were I decoupaged it.

I got a two pack of multicolored spiral notebook index cards so I went ahead and made another one for our next trip. That is right you read that correctly. I told Bill last night we need to decide when we are going back because I will be very depressed if we come home and the only ticker I have is one that tells me how many days it has been since we went on our trip .

You would think with the mousekeeping envelopes, the stickers on notebooks, and the matching shirts we had kids going with us. Disney makes us feel like kids again and I am going to enjoy every single second of it.

WOW!!! I followed your link in your siggie from another thread. *ahem* I never went back to the thread, but I will!!!! Anyway I am no where near caught up but I am hooked to this! You have done such a great job!! I can feel your your caring and kindness coming out in this PTR.
My son has CP, yep not the Crystal Palace (although he LOVED that place ) I really liked that statement!!!! So to see this from a moms perspective, Well I'm getting choked up, so I'm going to say thank you for writing this. It shows just what people can make of their lives despite having disabilities. By the way I love the nickname "Wild Thing"!! Right now Braeton jsut will say Mom Fuzzys doing it again. That's his leg that goes numb and has spasms quite often!! So we shake it, stretch it, kick it etc.... No matter were we are which gets us some different looks I'll tell you!!!
Anyway I'm really enjoying this. I willl post again once I catch up!!!

Good Morning Tracy, Bill, and everyone else on the Board! Its still Indian Summer up here in NY...its hard to beleive its in the 70s mid-October! The entire idea of going to WDW in November was to escape the cold weather...oh yeah, and its also BF's birthday! I can't even think about counting down the days, its so soon but not soon enough!

We're staying offsite in a timeshare and I've been trying to figure out how to bring a Christmas tree and decorations with me...my BF is like "why do you have to bring SO MUCH?!" I just get all crazy about making everything perfect, magical, memorable. He's more of "let's see how it goes"--which drives me crazy! I'm a planner, schemer, hoper. You can get so much more done if you know what you're doing!

I finally was able to get my GF Photopass appointment. It took a while to convince BF to do it, but I told him that we hardly have any pictures together. He's concerned because he tends to tense up when he thinks the flash goes off and he hates the way he looks in pictures. I tell him to forget about it--I love him even when he looks a little goofy. I think when you're happy it just comes out.

In prep for the trip, I ordered a video camera! I don't know how I'm going to carry it along with everything else, but the idea of the Illuminations cruise is just too much NOT to get on video. I do have concerns about getting on/off the boat with BF's crutches, but I told the lady who running the cruise about them, and she seems to think that it won't be a problem. The cruise leaves at 7:30, but we'll be there early in anticipation of any "issues".

I've convinced BF to get a wheelchair just for MVMCP. There are so many things to see and after a long day at the parks, he's going to be way tired, and probably blistered. And we plan to stay the entire time! He claims its actually a ploy on my part to get him to carry all my holiday souvenirs...that may actually be a bit true. I hang all sorts of shopping bags off the chair---did you see they have a Santa Yoda this year? He's going home with me!

Sorry for chatting so much! No one here shares my Disney enthusiasm! Being without kids, so many people are like "why? that place is for kids!". Well yeah it is! And we're two of them!

Hi Lee Lee, I am loving your TR so much. After you posted here and went and read it all, I am addicted to it now. Bill's disabilities might slow him down from time to time, but it never stops him. He is my inspiration, my best friend, and my hero .

I love that Braeton has a nickname for his leg. Might as well face these issues with humor it really does help.

Thank you for the compliment about the notebooks, I really had fun with them. We are thinking about getting some glow bracelets and handing them out to kids, we will see how outgoing I get. Have fun on your trip, it is so close!!

Hi MagiKitty, I am so glad your bf is getting the wheelchair for MVMCP. There is no sense in hurting himself, he needs to just relax and take it all in. I am sure that will help you both relax. I know if I was watching Bill hurt himself with blisters etc, I would be upset then a little annoyed at him for not taking better care of himself.

Where did you see the Santa Yoda? I would love to get a look at him. I know what you mean about people not sharing the Disney enthusiasm. I love being on the boards were everyone understands the excitement !!

Hi MousekaMaddi, we are here. Bill had a mid-term this week and is working on a business plan for another class, it has just been busy, busy, busy.

We are going to be at Pop the 3rd - 13th and at the MVMCP on the 12th. Maybe we will see you there?

Its actually titled "Thanksgiving and Christmas plush". He's on the first page. People are saying Yoda looks like Walter Cronkite, and he actually does....hope this helps a bit!

Oh I have seen it, printed it, gone over it, talked to Bill about it , and sketched out a plan for us. This new "Super Soap Theatre" looks like it is by the Beauty and the Beast show?? I am not understanding where the heck they put it . We are wanting to see I wanna be a soap star live with Michael E. Knight and Aiden Turner . Bill wants to wing it like we did last year. We are going to swing by the autograph booths so I can take pictures of the stars. Who knows what else we will do??

We have a flight around 1pm so you never know when they will ship up back to reality on ME.


Speaking of Bill, he really is working on an installment. He is doing research for a paper so he has been going back and forth, not sure if it will be posted today or tomorrow. After that I will post the last of our itinerary.

Hi, Tracy and Bill! I just finished reading all nineteen pages of this, and I really love it. You made me laugh, you made me cry, and you made me happy! You are such a sweet and loving couple, and I am so jealous that you are leaving SO SOON for the magic! I am not a soap fan so I will take your word for it that this is a great time to go, but I can't believe that Bill has never been to Star Wars Weekend! (Of course, the crazy crowds probably have something to do with that.)

I love the pics of Ace - he looks so much like the rat terrier my mom used to have. I CANNOT believe Josh turned you down, but it looks as though you made some great memories when he went with you before. I am so glad Bill's parents were supportive and happy when you told them about the trip.

I think you will love Pop. We were there for the first time in May, and unless we win the lottery and can afford Poly, we will probably always stay there.

Tracy, you are wonderfully creative! I love all the stuff you have made. I am a good money saving shopper, but not very crafty!

Okay, you are a real short timer now - have you started packing yet? I think I am a little bit OCD and really like to get things together early. Less stressful.

Have a wonderful and fabulous trip, and take a few notes so you won't forget details when you come back and tell us all about it. (Or have Bill file the details in HIS brain!)
