Ace, Me, & the Guy with CP *An update on Bill Pg. 70*

Hopefully things will run smoothly and I will have everything put where I want it in the room before we go to bed the first night at Pop Century :thumbsup2 . I am still a little nervous about staying there, I have read it can be very noisy :confused3 .

I have to unpack everything too and put it in it's proper place. I find it less stressful in the morning getting ready if I can easily locate everything. Here's a little tip: I bring little plastic baskets (like from Wal Mart) to hold my make-up, hair products, contact stuff, etc. It helps keep the counter neat & pretty.
I really wouldn't worry about POP being noisy unless you get a bad next door neighbor. We stayed there once (we actually had one of the accessible rooms) and we didn't notice any noise problems. The value and moderate hotels have outside doors so they are thicker and better sealed to keep in the A/C so they tend to block noise well. The food court can be a mad house at meal times but if you go early for breakfast (which you would if you were trying to make rope drop) it's fine. One other note about POP: at the bus stops at the parks the POP line is the farthest from the gate. There is a correlation (sp??) on how much you paid for your room to where your bus stop is. Tell Bill I said to put in it slow gear so you can keep up. No speed demons :yay:

If you are a coffee drinker please have a Kona Coffee for me when you go to the Kona Cafe. I had Kona Coffee on our honeymoon in Hawaii every morning we were there and I miss it...soooooo good!

Thanks for the tips!! We aren't really breakfast people. We will probably either take something to keep in the room for breakfast or buy something at Pop to keep in the room.

Bill always thought the Pop busses were the farthest away because it is the newest resort :confused3 ? Bill goes slow in the mornings and speeds at night :rotfl2:. Drives me crazy, but I love him anyway.

I am not really a coffee drinker, but have read many things about Kona Coffee on the DIS and have decided to order some.

Your itinearies are not boring!! Keep 'em coming. :)

It looks like you are eating at all the places I've never been to but want to try - Ohana, Whispering Canyon, kona Cafe, Le Cellier - can't wait to hear about them all. Yummmy!

You will LOVE Spectromagic! I cry every time I see it! :sad1:

Great idea about the baskets - I'll have to try that one - thanks! :)

Great itenerary! Very relaxed, that's a good thing! I'm so excited for you!!! We're going to Le Cellier for the first time too. I'm so happy for you that you get to meet a fellow DISer or two. Especially Kathy, who I've noticed holds a special place in your heart! I'm ready to hear your must sees!:)

Loved reading what you have planned but you stopped just when I'll be arriving (on the 8th)! :lmao: I'm eager to see your schedule for SSW. Did you score the tickets to the Susan Lucci breakfast? I read where they went on sale October 10th. Sure hope you managed to get them. :thumbsup2

I've stayed at Pop Century several times and love it! I've also stayed at ASMovies, Carribean Beach and Coronado Springs and actually prefer the Pop. Kona Cafe is also one of my favorite places. The Tonga Toast is a little to rich for my liking (warn Bill that he'll be on a sugar high for the rest of the day!). You can't go wrong with the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes - save some for me - I'll be scarfing them down on the 9th!)

Loving your report and really enjoyed hearing from Bill. I can't wait for your trip to begin because I'll be coming right behind you! Woo Hoo!

I cry a lot a WDW. I love that Bill is treated normally there, seeing how nice the cast members are to him, people smiling and waving at him instead of averting their eyes. It is truly a magical place for us.

I can't wait until we get there, getting more excited every day. I don't know how relaxing it really will be :rotfl:. Kathy is a sweetie and I do look forward to meeting her and her family.

Sounds like a good plan!

Le Cellier...YUM!

Thank you!! We are realy looking forward to trying Le Cellier.

The tickets were purchased as soon as they were available. Bill says we might make that an annual tradition.

Bill loves rich foods and being on sugar highs :lmao:. Thanks for telling me that about Pop. I don't think I have ever really read someone saying they don't like it there :confused3.

I can't believe how close it is :yay:. I am really getting excited.

- Spectromagic Parade 7pm (My first time)

Am I reading this correctly... you've never seen SpectroMagic??

You will love, love, love it!! When you come out of the LTT after dinner, just stay right in that area... it's a great spot to view the parade! :thumbsup2

Kathy

I've never seen Spectro either:confused3

I finally am caught up.

I had mono when I was a senior in high school (so a long time ago). No cable back then, but yes color tv was available.;)

I was out almost 2 months and the only thing on during the day was soaps. So I watched ABC. I really hadn't watched them again until I moved in w/ my current roommates. My one roommate Tivo's AMC and GH. So I will sit down w/ her every once in awhile and catch up.

I happened to be at WDW one year during the SSW and bumped into Susan Lucci. She could not have been nicer. Also saw Kin Shriner and Cameron Mathison working out at my resort. Did nothing for me, but you may have passed out.:)

Tracy, Bill where are you? It's been quiet here lately!

Spectromagic WONDERFUL!!!! We just watched it on our home video. Love it!:thumbsup2

Yes, you are reading that correctly, Bill has seen SpectroMagic, I have not!

Thanks for the tip about just sticking around LTT for the parade, that helped my stress level tremendously not worrying about getting a good spot!!

jordan, thanks for taking the time to read our pre-trippie!!

Susan Lucci was wonderful to us last year. We got the breakfast club tickets again this year just so we could meet her again. That way we don't have to fight any crowds to get a pic with her.

Nah, I wouldn't be passing out for Kin Shriner or Cameron Mathison. If Aiden Turner or Thorsten Kaye was in front of me it might be a different story :rotfl:. I am a push over for those accents!!

Tracy, Bill where are you? It's been quiet here lately!

Hi Poohtigeey, we have been a bit busy around here.

- Bill's parents were here on Saturday
- Bill is doing a project for one class and has a mid term Thursday for another
- My laptop freaked out and I ended up just wiping the hard drive and redoing it. Thank goodness that we had our computers networked. Before I erased the hard drive, I moved all the pictures and programs I wanted to keep over to his computer:thumbsup2 .

Thanks for asking about us. Bill said he might post about our trip last November tonight, he wasn't sure yet.

Yes, at least one day we are going to be matching. I think matching shirts at least once while you are in WDW is required:confused3 ? I have one more blank shirt, I might just steal, I mean borrow one of the designs I did for Bill so we match on two days!!

Here is a shirt I picked up for both of us:

Here is a "borrowed" pic from disney shopping of a shirt I got myself for the trip. I got a lime green one of course :rotfl:.

Here is the mandatory pic of the paperwork from Disney:

Here are our MVMCP tickets. We are both very excited about the party :yay:.

The next three pictures are of Mousekeeping envelopes I made with clip art and PSP 11.

This picture makes the writing look blurry, it is the angle of the picture. I did a drop shadow on the writing.

Hey Tracy! Great pics.
We are also going to be sporting the shirt from the Disney store in lime green.
Only 18 more days! WOW!

I love the Mickey flag shirts - I almost ordered that one for myself.

Samantha and I both have the Lime Green and Turquoise of the other shirts from disney shopping.

Great job on the mousekeeping envelopes!

Tell Bill we'd love to read his post on your November trip! ::yes::

Whoa! I am outta my league here...I'm not worthy! Tracy, you are an amazing Disney Diva! I can't believe how thoughtful and talented you are. Mousekeeping envelopes?! They're works of art! It will make someone's day!

And here I was all proud of myself just coz I've gotten all the tickets and scheduling worked out. Now I've got to work on matching t-shirts too?

I can't believe how soon our trips will be! I'm way too excited! :cheer2:

Can't beat the Lime Green!! Gotta represent :disrocks:!! Every time I see the countdown ticker, my heart beats faster, I smile then panic :scared:.

Hey Tracy, did the package arrive ????? :rolleyes1

Oh my goodness, yes it did. I PM'd you about it and I had a question.

We like those shirts. I don't know if we will be matching or not. It all depends on the weather. Bill gets cold very easily, so it will have to be very warm for him to be wearing it.

Love those Mickey head logo shirts, they are adorable.

I told Bill what you said and he said he would try to post tonight, we will see :rotfl:.

MagiKitty, you crack me up:lmao:. Seriously those mousekeeping envelopes were not hard to do, but thank you for the compliments. Our trips are sooooo close!!:cheer2: :cool1:

I have loved the DISboards from the day I found it. I have read some wonderful, inspiring posts and "met" some amazing people.

apirateslife4evr, started reading our pre-trip report recently and PM'd me. She wanted to send us something for our upcoming trip. She said "(hint......it's something that relates to something you've mentioned in your trip report)."

I PM'd her back telling her that was not necessary, we were happy that she was reading our report and thanked her for her kindness.

She PM'd again stating she really wanted to do this for us. She said "Just think of it as a bit of Disney MAGIC, your own pixie dust pixiedust:...a personal Disney Dream."

She is our own personal dream giver. This wonderful women that did not know us from anything insisted on sending us a gift.

Bill and I talked it over and gave her our address as requested. She mailed the package Saturday and we received it today :yay: !!

I opened the box and read her letter then this is what we saw (I put the 3 packages on Bill's tray):

Then I opened them and this is what we saw:

Here is a close up:

There were 2 lanyards and a total of 26 pins. I do not know how to thank her enough or how to repay her for her kindness. This was way above and beyond spreading Pixie Dust. We already got a Disney Dream and haven't even gotten to WDW yet. I cried :sad1: when I opened it, I am crying again as I write this.

I just wanted everyone to know what a special person Donna Lynn aka apirateslife4ever  is.

I never imagined there would be such kind and caring people on a forum, but Donna and everyone else that has replied on this pre-trippie have really touched Bill and I. We can never thank you enough.

Hugs from Bill and I to Donna :grouphug:.
