Cast and crew:

Ace(me): 28. United States Air Force. Disney lover as long as I can remember.
DW: Nancy,28. Became Disney lover when we got engaged at Disneyland.
DS: Nick, 5. Had first Disney experience at 3 months old and hasn't looked back.
My mom: JoAnn. I owe my love of Disney to her since she always took us to Disneyland.
My sis: Vicki, 25. Looking for relaxation above all
My brother: Rob, 21. Can finally have a drink at PI
Brother's G/F: Ali. Is she ready for a week with us all?

Mickey called again nice and early, and this time we actually got up with the call. Plan was for a visit to AK. DW, DS, mom and I again headed out ourselves, to meet up with the others later. Arrived shortly after opening and DS went to check out all the CM's with the creatures(tarantulas, scorpions, etc). Since DS is a dinosaur-nut, obviously our first trek took us to Dinoland. He scooted ahead of us pointing out every little detail, naming all the dinos he could see. He took a ride on Triceratop Spin with DW, while mom and I hit Primeval Whirl. From what I read, I thought it would be disappointing. But it was actually a cute ride, both to look at and ride. Had to play a couple of games to win a stuffed dino of course. I think these are a little out of place for Disney, but no big deal. Worked our way over to Dinosaur! and coached DS through his nerves. I really like this ride, but it is so loud. DS liked it, but I had to hold his ears for most of it. The exit leads through a dino gift shop, where we got stuck for about a half hour, where DS had to have a T-Rex mask, so he could stomp and roar his way through the park. Explored the boneyard, and got a pic of DS with the Carnotaur from Dinosaur! Made our way out of Dinoland, making a stop at ITTBAB. DS had done this previously but this time he did not sit on our laps. It was priceless to see him get "stung" and when all the bugs left the theater. Got a call from brother and g/f who had arrived. Met up at Pizzafari for lunch, which was pretty good.
Went and grabbed FP for the safari, and went on the trail while we waited. Our safari was great for the afternoon. Had a giraffe really up close and saw a lot of animals. Took a stroll into Asia for a ride on the Kali rapids. DS went for first time and of course had a blast getting soaked. Somehow everyone in the boat except DW managed to get pretty wet. DS had to take brother and g/f back to Dinoland to show them around, so we hit all the rides again. Primeval Whirl was fun the first time with mom, but with 4 adults we really got a good ride. Made our way out stopping to catch the parade and stopped to check our pics that were taken on entrance. Turned out great, especially DS and gramma. Brother and g/f had lost their ticket, but the great CM's asked fro a description of the photographer and they somehow managed to locate their pics, which also turned out great. Jumped on bus to Poly for PS at O'hana's.
Sis was supposed to have met up with us but she ended up getting sick. She decided to sleep in a bit, and then go for her run. She ended up going for her run near noon and overdid it, resulting in a some heat exhaustion. The rest of us headed over to O'hana and we were seated immediately for our dinner. Great service and food just like the last time. I think I was still digesting all my food from Boma the night before, so I don't think I put away as much. But it was great. Made our way to MK in hopes of seeing Spectro and the fireworks. People were already staking their spots, so we decided to go get some rides in. Another spin on TTA and grabbed FP for SM. DS needed to ride the Branstormer, so over to Toontown for a ride, then back to SM. DS did not want to do it, so him and DW and gramma went to Teacups, while we did SM. The plan was to meet up at BTMRR afterwards. They got there fine but by the time we finished, Main St was a zoo. We managed to fight through and we did BTMRR 3 times in a row. Coaxed DS into riding Splash, where we got to see some of Spectro. Got stuck inside for a few minutes, and of course DS ended up loving the ride. Out in time for the fireworks, which DS wanted no part of, so we ducked inside with him. But he got suddenly brave and inched outside to watch the fireworks while we held his ears. Great way to end the day. The crowd to get out was a mess, so we plopped on a bench outside Crystal Palace and watched the castle change colors while people passed. It was so nice just to sit there and take in the sights. Finally got up and made our way through the shops, buying up more stuff. Had a great bus driver on the way back to the hotel. She quizzed us on Disney trivia, and talked about the "Villians" park that is currently in the planning stages. Sounds like it would be really cool. Finally make it back, DS is already snoring and we are not far behind. Great day.
