Green doesn't spin. Green is only a slight tilt plus the visuals on the screen and a little motion as you land etc. It's like star tours without 3D and with a mainly broken ride vehicle..
Just an FYI in case this affects your trip; Mission: Space will be closed for much of June and July this year for refurbishment.I've been debating on whether to go on Mission Space Green or Orange. Can someone please verify if what I'm imagining is so? From what I've been able to gather, it seems like Orange is like a carnival cyclotron, or round-up (which I used to have no problems with), and that in addition, the seats tilt up or down, while spinning, to coincide with the image on the screen. Is this fairly accurate? If not, how does it differ?
I've found that as I've gotten older, I can get motion sickness much more easily than when I was younger. It's like every time you get nauseated by something, it stays in the background of your system and ups the ante for the next time you do something that throws off your inner ear. A nausea bank, if you will! I rarely got motion sickness when I was younger. I'll be taking Dramamine just in case, but really don't want to be woozie for part of the day either, as I've heard happens to some people.
I second/third this.Sound advice here on if you do try Orange to do it at the end of the day, or a time that it would ruin your day.

I like your description! We've always ridden Green because DD gets migraines and DH gets motion sickness. Last trip I did Orange by myself. The pressure on your face and chest during launch is accurate. Tears were streaming out the sides of my face due to the g force. The whole launch/pressure thing was totally cool. I felt the tingling in my mouth/extra saliva/might get sick feeling right after the launch when the capsule slowed down and was suddenly weightless among the asteroids. I did not get sick though, thank goodness, and felt fine for the rest of the ride after that.Ride green if you are nervous.
I love orange but at times it can be intense. Some years are better than others for me. But what it feels like for me is an intense shaking followed by a lot of pressure on your chest and face. If you look straight ahead and don't close your eyes you might not notice you are spinning but that doesn't work for everyone. Once in space there are two more segments that's has that crazy pressure and g forces.
I love it so much but it's too intense for my sister so she rides green. Green is boring to me in comparison but if you are easy to get sick really ride green.
that's up to you, but may I recommend Sea Bands wristbands if he gets carsick. They are at most drugstores and Amazon. Completely solved my daughter's carsickness issues. If my son gets car sick a few times a year, but did the tea cups with no problem at all, do you think we should avoid orange?
Exactly my experience. Once and done. I stick with Green now. Other than the G, there wasn't anything unique in Orange to see that you won't see on Green. But what it feels like for me is an intense shaking followed by a lot of pressure on your chest and face.
