So, what happened to building 18?

OOOOoooooo, a mystery! Sort of like the elevators in the Hollywood Tower Hotel! Building 18 only fades into existance on nights that they're having MNSSHP!

Or maybe that's where the disgruntled CMs book naughty DVC owners in: "Oh, yeah, he's that cranky, demanding one - put him in Building 18!"

Take a look at the resort unto itself in the middle of the Fairway. Nice view -- but there isn't going to be any walking across the greens to get to High Rock Springs Pool. The Fairway road goes up to the guardhouse and then connects with Broadway.

Even still, I think it has the looks of a nice little neighborhood on its own. I'm curious to see what they will do with the area in the middle of the parking lot. Putting green? Park?

Wow. The farther of the two buildings may win the "worst building at SSR" award. Far from everything - except the Guardhouse and the roads....

Probably not desirable in terms of proximity to DD or the main pool, but they still have their plusses. Looks like there will be a Leisure pool right close by. Easy access to the roads, too. Probably too much to hope for, but perhaps two buildings' worth of "Standard View" points??? Mayby they'd let us call it the "Guard Shack View."

FWIW - during our SSR tour back in September our guide told us that the Treehouse Villas were going to be torn down (even though, as he admitted, they were still in good shape) because they contained asbestos.

There is enough space in there for the mysteriously disappearing Building 18 -- or the eternally desired 2nd feature pool.

..............maybe they will have a golf cart service in to the main area........LBV cuts right accross the property so there will be alot of cart traffic..........that is how everyone gets around in Fort wilderness in the back area............
