Accomplishments

One of the girls (Sort of friend) said that some teachers at school are the ones that read and judge the essays. I'd imagine that some would catch on to the writing style of a few of the students, and that may sway them, but that's as far as I know how they picked.

Meg, I was in NJHS too as an 8th grader. They only picked a few because it was mostly freshman, but I got in. They came to my homeroom one day and gave out 'not so subtle' big blue ribbon things, which was like the symbol fro NJHS. There was only 2 in that class, so I felt all proud of myself.

Of course, it was the dumbest thing and biggest time waster I've ever experienced. I decided to opt out of joining it as a freshman. Lol.

One more accomplishment that's HUGE for me.

- I have perfect attendance. Seriously, I had the most awful freaking attendance throughout most of public school. It was so boring to me and I was usually lightyears ahead, so I got bored and un-motivated. A teacher once told me that I was the only person in school who had missed so many classes, but still had a GPA of above 3.5. Lmao. Like every morning I would wake up and think to myself 'How do I get out of school today?' To be fair, I was also truly sick a lot.

But anyway, back to the point. I go every single day to class and love it. I don't think it's boring, or too hard, or miserable. I enjoy it 100%.

There were maybe 100 of us total, Jenny (out of maybe 400 8th graders).

We did get a nice ceremony and everything. We got roses, special awards were given out, the whole enchilada.

Congrats everyone on your accomplishments!

Here are some that I'm proud of:
Graduated HS on the honour roll every semester
Got a small scholarship for excelling in both english & french
Got an academic letter
Won the drama award all 4 years of HS, and the french award 3 years.
Won prom queen with my amazing BF by my side as prom king
Have the most amazing relationship I could ever ask for
Attend one of the top universities in Canada (University of Toronto)
Am officially bilingual (french/english)
Got hired on the spot @ a store that everyone around here tries to get a job at (it's a record store) (and i was the only christmas temp who was kept on a full time-part time)

I accomplished to achive all A's from 5th grade to 8th right now. Hopefully
I will continue to get all A's.

Have been on honor roll every year/ tri-mester.
I've accomplished a GPA of 4.0
