Accommodations? Resort?

As I posted on another thread we are considering a quick last minute jaunt to WDW at the end of the month for 5 nights(March 27th - April 1)

It is me, me wife, my son(16) and my daughter(13)

Now my son and daughter do not want to share a bed and that is understandable with us. Since this is not our "main vacation" for the year and just a quick get away we really do not want to go crazy spending wide. We usually stay off site and rent a full house but looking at it in this case, especially with the Spring Special, it may be cheaper to stay somewhere on site and use Magical Express and forego renting a car.

I haven't stayed on site in probably a decade or so. If I am correct Disney does not offer roll aways, right? What would be your recommendation, we are trying to keep this as low cost as possible.

Your cheapest bet would probably be POR with the murphy bed that pulls out from under the other bed.
They would each have their own beds.
Or you could stay in a value or moderate and you sleep with DS and DW sleep with DD. That is what we do when staying in a resort with only two full beds. Although, no matter what, I would recommend a moderate.

There is the All Star Music family suite but it may be cheaper to get two value rooms. We've brought an air mattress for siblings that don't want to share a bed into a moderate before.

Some of the deluxe rooms have a daybed but it would probably be less to stay off site.

I too would vote for POR alligator room with murphy bed. Or get the air mattress to stay in a value. You can put it up when not in use.

Remember the Murphy bed is only 63" long so if your kids are taller than 5'2" that won't work.

My kids won't share a bed either, so we always bring a blow up air mattress with us regardless of where we travel and have never had any issues. We just fold it up and put it in the suitcase along with some sheets.

I usually share with my mom or sleep on the floor.

Remember the Murphy bed is only 63" long so if your kids are taller than 5'2" that won't work.

My wife - at 5'6" slept in it one night when the baby didn't want to (and we were tired of the complaining.)

Alternately, you could offer the regular two bed room, and ask the kids to pay for their own room if they didn't want to sleep in the same bed.

But that's what we as evil parents do sometimes...
