Can someone tell me which DVC resorts will accommodate 5 people in a studio or a 1 bedroom in November 2015? I know some resorts are currently undergoing renovations so it's hard to tell from the point charts if the maximum will change from 4 to 5. I rented points this past August (LOVED BLT and I know they can accommodate 5) and I'm looking into doing it again in Nov but my little one will be 4 so we need to sleep 5. TIA!

1BRs with the sleeper chair are at BLT, AKV and OKW.

1BRs with a 2nd bathroom are at BLT and AKV-kidani.

other 1BRs (besides the values at AKV-jambo) will allow 5 but you are on your own for bedding.

studios with a fold-down "minibed" are at (at least) VGF and VWL but that will be really crowded to put 5 in a studio even if they all have beds...

Poly studio would sleep 5.

BWV and BCV studios are getting the sleeper beds this year. Not sure what the schedule is.

Thanks so much @chalee94 and @nalajms! I didn't know I could book a 1 BR with 5 if it didn't have the sleeper chair...I'm fine with bringing the little aero bed for the little one!

Just to clarify, does this mean there are beds for 5 in a studio at VGF and VWL but only enough beds for 4 in a 1BR?

sorry, the 1BR villas at the grand floridian have beds for 5 (if 1 is really small):

1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Twin-Size Pull Down Bed

VWL is still only showing beds for 4:

1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa

no idea if VWL will be updating the 1BRs to include the little pulldown bed.

Rehab is done at WLV. No pull out Murphy bed in the one bedroom., only in the studios. Nor will BWV or BCV get a Murphy bed in a one bedroom!

The pull down murphy bed is really a bunk bed size versus a twin -- as it is shorter and narrower than a twin.

They would have to remove the kitchen counter to put in the murphy bed in the one bedroom lockoff. The door to the second bedroom is in the living room and not in the entrance to the villa.

We did a studio at VGF for a week in April 2014 but our kids were twin DD 11 and DS 9. It was manageable, but if went back we would do a 1BR. We knew that going in that trip would probably be the last one doing a studio (we go every other year) and that is why we did it (before demand at VGF grew and it might be hard to get in at 7 mths). We had the best room though (1314)
