accidents in the home

I had the house all nice and clean until the girls dumped one of their toy drawers in the family room. Well dh was installing the new phone at the same time and wasnt paying attention when he stepped on a cd case. I have no idea how he did this but he must have done it at the just the right angle he sliced the bottom of his foot right open. I called the nurse and she said wait an hour if its still bleeding take him in. I dont know if it needs stitches or not its really pretty deep I may not wait the hour. He has it elevated and with ice on it but I know it must hurt like the devil!

Be careful out there folks! The home is dangerous place apparently

It sounds like your dh has my luck. Those cd cases have extremely sharpe edges. I've sliced my fingers open on them a time or 2.

Has the bleeding stopped?

It seems to have slowed quite a bit. the nurse told me to draw around the blood on the bandage and if it went past that mark then Id know it was still going. Dh doesnt want anything sharp near it lol
