I am a DVC member....I will be staying offiste next week and I am wondering about having access to DVC properties. Specifically I am wondering if I can use the gym and pool at Saratoga Springs....it's my favorite pool to hang out and relax. Thanks for your feedback!

You need to be staying at a DVC resort on points to utilize the pool hopping privilege. Or a guest at SSR (cash or points) to use their facilities.

You can still use discounts with your blue member card at restaurants, etc. But not the resort facilities.

Specifically I am wondering if I can use the pool at Saratoga Springs...

pool hopping is only an option if you are staying on a pts reservation onsite, so no, you can't use the pool.

generally, DVC resorts do not offer owners "day privileges." your ownership gives you the ability to book stays at DVC resorts...but if you are not staying onsite, you will not be granted access to the facilities as anything other than a typical visitor.

so if you want to book a dinner at turf club (or pay to use the spa services), go ahead. but the pool is for guests of SSR and DVC owners staying on pts reservation who qualify to pool hop.

That is right - we have stayed off-site a number of times, and actually checked with OKW cast members and were told no pool hopping.

The only thing you can use with your DVC membership is the shopping and dining discounts. No use of facilities, no pool hopping, no free parking, etc. Free parking only comes with staying at a WDW resort or having an AP or PAP.

There are no day pass privileges with DVC.
