Access Road behind BCV-how loud?

I suppose its how you look at things. If you are viewing yc/bc from the Lighthhouse/boat launch then perhaps one can say that BCV is tucked away from the hustle/bustle of SAB and the Boardwalk.

Since the villas are set to the left of the entrance of the Beach Club resort how can it be tucked behind the Beach Club?

I guess it depends on what you consider the front of the resort. I always think of the BC as facing cresent lake and BW on the other side, with the lobby opening up to the major walkway around the lake. Therefore that being it's front which I consider different different then it's entrance. Perhaps I'm a bit wacked, but that is my reason why I said "tucked behind" ...not that it really matters ...but since you asked.

Agreed but to me that is the quieter of the areas, the area in the front of the resorts with car and bus traffic has more noise and that is where the villas are located.

The car traffic does not bother me but those Disney buses are loud.

:flower: I see what you mean, but the front to me is the entrance where you arrive as with most all resorts and hotels. I don't know many hotels or resorts where you arrive at the rear of the resort. ;)

But as you said not that it really matters, unless someone is trying to picture where the villas are located in relationship to the rest of the resort.

I like the Villas, but I don't care for the location of them, I know they did not have much to work, with but to me they will always be stuck in the front of the resort in the parking lot.

Tucked behind the Y&BC is how I would describe BCV too. Looking at it from the perspective of most guests not staying there but going by on the boats or visiting the BW, you can't even see the BCV. Of course, if you're staying there you can see it as you approach but it is to the side.

And the bus stop is on the other side so not much of a factor. More so to guests of the BC than BCV in my opinion.

TerryS, nice to see you on the DIS. I've been wondering where you are whenever BCV discussions arise!

we were on the ground floor near the access road on our 1st stay as DVCers back in 1/2003. we didn't notice any noise from the access road, but did hear ALOT of noise from the maintenence people in the mornings like around 6:30-7 ish. I wasn't too happy about that. Since it was near the back and the woods...I guess they used that path more often. They were rolling garbage cans and using tools and letting doors slam etc. But really..I can't remember it happening on every day we were there, but maybe 2. either that or we were so pooped out that we didn't even notice.
