My son and daughter both got accepted for QSFB. My son is definitely going...my daughter is not sure yet.

Just wanted to let those of you who didn't get in know that if you email your recruiters (or at least, in my case) they'll email you back, and my recruiter, Jannah, said I could call her and she'd go over some of the stuff from my interview with me... I guess that's good? I thought I did okay on my interview though, so now I don't know... haha. We'll see. I'll keep you guys updated.

So it seems that I am the third person to get a letter saying that we won't know until April 17th... I guess its some kind of wait list? See if people accept the offers and if not then we get in?

Arg... I was so excited to get the letter, than open it and learn I still wont know for another month and a half! booo

I've heard they are Aug 10, 12, 19, and one more (I haven't officially accepted yet).

Still trying to figure out is this not knowing until April 17th nonsense is a waitlist. Does mid april fit with accepting deadlines?

when you get your letter you have two weeks to accept
and the two weeks after accepting to pay the 100 dollar fee
im not sure when they stop accepting applications though
i remember last semester we didnt have the presentation at my school until less than a month when people arrived for the spring and I found that odd

So...I've read all the posts and all have been dis/couraging haha. My heart goes out to those with the rejection letters, and many congrats to those with acceptants. I can only pray to be so lucky. Well my FAQS: I had my stuff ready 1/23/09, my presentation was 2/18/09 phone interview 1130am 2/19/09. Its officially been one week and I'm going mad. my recruiter was Elaine Bolivar also. My #1 Role choice was FSFB, I'm a host trainer at P.F. Chang's and I've been a host 3 years now so I hope that helps. Next was Attractions, then Character Attendant. I'd be happy with any. I'm a college freshman at Arizona State University. Graduated HS in May 08. My biggest worry with all of this is my grades at ASU. I'm not doing well, last semester I basically failed everything..and I'm on Academic probation. Does anyone know how much they look into that? cuz if so I'm prolly royally screwed. I pray they look past it. I'm not dumb, college style learning just isnt my forte. Any incite is appreciated C:

If "they" means Disney, they don't look at it directly. But they do ask your school to make sure you meet their criteria to participate. So if your school is fine with you participating, even if you are on probation, you are fine. But if Arizona State requires you to be in whatever they consider "good standing" to do an internship, co-op, or work study type of thing, then they would be the ones who put the stop to you participating.

Thanks for yalls responses. I really dont know what their standards are, I dont know anyone from the school let alone anyone who has done this program, so I dont know what they had to go through.

It's so hard planning out my fall schedule while still hoping to be in Disney World instead of here! *sigh* oh well.
