Accepted!!!!!

So...I've read all the posts and all have been dis/couraging haha. My heart goes out to those with the rejection letters, and many congrats to those with acceptants. I can only pray to be so lucky. Well my FAQS: I had my stuff ready 1/23/09, my presentation was 2/18/09 phone interview 1130am 2/19/09. Its officially been one week and I'm going mad. my recruiter was Elaine Bolivar also. My #1 Role choice was FSFB, I'm a host trainer at P.F. Chang's and I've been a host 3 years now so I hope that helps. Next was Attractions, then Character Attendant. I'd be happy with any. I'm a college freshman at Arizona State University. Graduated HS in May 08. My biggest worry with all of this is my grades at ASU. I'm not doing well, last semester I basically failed everything..and I'm on Academic probation. Does anyone know how much they look into that? cuz if so I'm prolly royally screwed. I pray they look past it. I'm not dumb, college style learning just isnt my forte. Any incite is appreciated C:

I go to ASU and I also applied for the program last semester and I never really had any contact with anyone specifically at ASU about grades or anything, but I have never been on academic probation so I don't know if it might be different for you. My sister did the program in the past and I know at her school she had to meet a minimum gpa, but I never really heard of anything like that at ASU last semester. I do know that ASU is pretty big into stressing being in good standing to do study abroad and stuff, and I guess this is kind of similar. I would think someone might contact you though if it was a problem and at least let you maybe explain your situation. I don't really know if any of this helps. . .

so I literally just got the mail and there was 2 packages!

I made it!!! I got FSFB, which was not my top pick but it it good for my degree.

DF got his package too and he got attractions, I called him and let him know but he was in lab so he could not talk for more than a second.

I feel like a ten ton weight is off my shoulder.

P.S. I interviewed on Feb 5 and DF interviewed on Feb 11

That's awesome! I'm glad that you both got accepted, I knew you were worried about what would happen if only one of you did. I'm doing FSFB too! =) What location are you hoping for?

I really would like to be in one of the parks esp. 50 Prime Time Cafe or Sci Fi Dine Inn. I have never done any restaurant work, I have always done retail. My major is Restaurant and Hotel Management, so I think that may have something to do with me getting this role (besides checking it off ). I picked it because on I remember the hosts at the Sci Fi having so much fun. I guess I would like a place where it is up beat and fun, which I have never gotten that feeling from the resort restaurants we went to.

I got my letter on Monday for QSFB!

For those of you who got rejected..I did to the first time I applied and was so disappointed. I didn't know what I did wrong and thought my interview went great. I guess it didn't. But friends and family encouraged me to try again because they knew working at Disney is one of my dreams. My advice is to keep trying if CP something you really want to do.

I got my letter today! I got accepted for Fall 09 and will be doing Main Entrance Operations which was my 3rd choice but I don't care haha! I just do not want to be doing the parking tram I do not see that going well haha! But I am so excited!!!! I interviewed on Feb 2nd incase anyone was wondering.

My dbf interviewed on the Feb 11th so I am so hoping he gets accepted soon!

I was accepted for QSFB!!! Fall Advantage!!!

I had my interview on Feb 16th. I didn't think I would get a letter that fast. I was sreaming and running out of the post office. Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy and my husband was in the car looking at me like I was crazy and didn't know what was going on.

My husband applied as well, we are just waiting on his notification if he was accepted.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

Finally...

I got my DCP package in the mail today; I had my interview on the 28th of January. The postmark on my package was the 25th... not sure why it took so long, but I'm happy I finally got it.
