Acca-Believe it…. You’re in Disney! Jan 2013 UPDATED 3/24 COMPLETE!

Last Moments in Epcot

After our mission to mars it was time to tackle the world showcase. Which we only did Mexico and Norway because we were running out of time. First up Mexico where I took the traditional Alicia and Andy photo. They take a photo in front of the Mexico pavilion each trip because that is where he proposed. San Angel inn is there all time favorite place to eat.

We hopped on the boat ride and this is the moment where I realized how tired I was. The boat ride is so relaxing I could take a nap….but there’s NO SLEEPING IN DISNEY! Especially not on the last day!!!

Next it was time to go to my favorite, Norway or what I like to call it NORVAY!!!!
I was going to get a school bread but we decided it would be best to go on Maelstrom first.

Wearing my Norvay shirt in Norvay!!!

Then I saw the saddest thing in my entire life!!!

Just kidding I don’t have time to watch that! I got to get me a delicious school bread!
I got it to go because we were headed to lunch.

They put a good dollop of custard on top, my favorite.

We split up for lunch, Alicia and Andy went to Mexico and Leandra and I headed over to sunshine seasons. On our walk back to future world we decided that we wouldn’t use our fastpass for Mission Space because we didn’t have enough time. We did however make a stop over to club cool so Leandra could try some Beverly. She was not a fan at all.

I also pointed out the center of disney world to Leandra

This isn't actually the center anymore but I still tell myself it is. I have always been fascinated in the details & secrets in Disney world. I use to have folders for each park and there secrets, that’s how crazy of a child I was.

We walked to the land pavilion and I was so excited to get my all time favorite Land grown Caesar salad. When I was cashing out the CM asked me what my school bread was. She thought they got new desserts, nope I just purchased it in Norway.

My Caesar salad (Which I love!) and crème brulee (Which I was not a fan of at all)

Leandra got the sweet and sour chicken (I believe) and some rice.

for dessert she got the cappuccino cupcake, which she really enjoyed!

We had about a half hour left before we had to leave. We found Alicia and Andy and we decided to use our last fast pass for soarin. The CM was not very understanding like the one at Test Track. That’s when I head a snotty teenage girl telling her friend that we were lying to the CM and that we didn’t even have a fastpass. I was about to say something but decided not to because I didn’t want to be crabby on my last day in Disney.

So we talked to the CM at the desk and she gave us fastpasses. I secretly wished we were on the same ride with those girls but we weren’t. I told Leandra and Alicia about what happened and they both said they wish they would have heard because they would’ve given them a piece of their minds :rotfl:

When we boarded I made sure to place my school bread carefully under my seat because I wouldn’t want to ruin the dollop. Once we got off soarin we rushed over to mouse gears because Leandra wanted to get the Alice Tea for someone back home. We got to the bus stop at 3, where there was an AoA bus waiting and no Pop bus, so we jumped on that bus and made our way back.

When we got to AoA we browsed through the gift shop because Andy still needed to use his snack credit still. He ended up getting some sour gummy worms. We headed over to Pop century got our bags from storage and waited for the Magical Express to pick us up.

Now It's Time to Say Goodbye

The Magical Express came, We said goodbye to Alicia. She had to catch a bus to get to work. When we got on the bus it was that time of the trip when Andy goes quiet. I ended up falling asleep on the ride to the airport.

As I was getting up to get off the bus I almost dropped my school bread and the dollop got crushed!!! NOOOO!!!!

We went through security with no problem, got changed into pants and hoodies then found our gate. There were no seats open that had plug nearby so we opted to seat on the ground.

Our flight back home was uneventful, I fell asleep for most of it until the end when my ear decided to having this horrible pain like someone was stabbing me. We landed safely, we got our luggage and Burke came to pick us up and dropped me off at home.

Welcome back to reality!

My second trip report has come and gone but I enjoyed reliving and sharing my trip with all of you! I’m happy to say that I wont be gone from the Dis because it’s time to start up a new trip report!!!

Once again I would like to thank every single one of you who took time out of your day to read my trip report!

Glad the CM at TT was understanding with the FP, and I have to agree that the new design of TT just isn't that good, I liked the old one much better! Aside from the snooty girls it seems like a pretty awesome way to end a trip at Disney!

I really enjoyed the TR and am looking forward to reading the next one to hear all about it! What I saw on instagram looked pretty awesome!

Aww Disney trips ending is so sad! But at least you had an awesome last day and didn't say anything to the annoying girls (even though they deserved it)!

And the pictures in front of Mexico are so adorable. How awesome that he proposed there.

Awesome trip report! I can't wait for the next one

The pictures of Alicia & Andy are so cute! They look so in love. And how freaking cool to get engaged in Epcot?!

So sorry about the demise of your custard dollop. That is just tragic! Combine that with no Norway movie, and leaving WDW, and I just don't know how you made it through the day! ;)

Another awesome TR, Sam!! Can't wait for the next one!

Catching up!

Be Our Guest looks amazing! I can't wait to try the food and see the restaurant itself with my own eyes. Part of me wonders what took Disney so long to come up with this idea (or build it). I love being able to feel part of the actual movie.

I love how your dream role is to be an ugly stepsister! I think you could totally pull off the character's personality and movements because you have so much energy. Of course, you are way too adorable to resemble the actual ugly stepsisters in the movie though!

Whoa, I hadn't seen any pictures of construction for Splash! Super sad that you couldn't go on it during the trip, but I have to admit that seeing the workers all up there on the scaffolding is pretty cool!

Now that I've FINALLY seen Wreck-It Ralph, I'm so excited to see the new castle show! Husband and I also finally saw Brave too! Haha, it takes us forever to watch Disney movies because we wait for them to come out on DVD and then even then, my schedule as a teacher never allows me to sit and relax to watch a movie. I'm constantly thinking about the millions of things I have to do. Blah.

I agree with you that the old Test Track was better. I like being able to experience something new with the car designs and such, but I liked the concept of the old one better even with the crazy loud noises in the queue.

Haha, I like how you carefully placed your school bread under the seat of Soarin' to protect that dollop ... but OH NO, to the messed up dollop! The "good" part is that you caught it and the whole thing didn't fall out of the packaging. I can be a nervous wreck about carrying leftovers out of restaurants. I'm just weird like that. I always have to make sure it's in a bag so that if it were to pop open or if I dropped it, it'd still be protected. I care about my food way too much ...

YAY NEXT TR!

I just had to come read this tr i read alicia's yolo one and so now that I found you i had to read this too!!!
