Academy for Heroes RP!

Title explains it! Time for the Academy for Heroes RP to officially start! The main details of the academy or on the signups, but I'll restate. Assuming we all know how to act, I won't go through the rules.

Info:

So the main idea of this RP is that there is an academy for super powered OR super-smart children who has the ability to become the next generation of heroes. The academy teaches students how to use their abilities to fight evil and be heroes. The school is located on the coast of Florida, complete with a main building with normal classes, the Technology lab, gymnasium, and cafeteria, a separate building for Combat and Weapons- specially designed to withstand the students' training, and a beach area for leisure time and outdoor combat.

Students must be aged from 14-18. Younger students are required to be with at least one older student when they go out fighting. When students go out, they must wear a type of super suit or at the very least a sort of mask.

Classes include normal classes (English, math, etc.), but the academy also has Combat, Technology, and Weapons for the hero part of the students' lives.

To be accepted into the school, the students must be aged 14-18, and have some sort of super power OR ability. Students who do not have super powers but instead have abilities such as extreme intelligence are allowed to be in the school, if they can properly manage their abilities. So, if someone like Tony Stark/Iron Man were to apply, they could join as long as they keep their suit in check and can keep up with the other powered students.

At the beginning of the year, to kick things off, there will be a formal on the first Friday of school (school begins on a Monday).

Rules for the school are basic, no misusing powers, no unauthorized crime fighting, curfew is 9:30, boys stay in boys dorms, girls in girls dorms, younger students cannot go out fighting without at least one older student, etc.

Of course, characters are allowed to break the rules for RPing's sake But be prepared for them being punished if they're caught

Eric Alcott: Students would be arriving at the academy any time now, through various ways of transport. He was standing a little inside the school gates, wearing a black suit. Right now, his hair was dark brown and he had hazel eyes. He noticed that his niece was missing. He took out what looked like a phone, but also had an intercom system throughout the school. He tapped the 'Tech Lab' button and spoke into it. "Kylie? Are you coming?"

Kylie: Kylie, who was busy trying to make a small wrist-band laser, sighed. Despite the fact that she was halfway across the room taking notes, the small laser was still assembling itself, bits of metal flew around the room. The last parts settled on the table. "Alright, Uncle Eric," she said as she tossed her notepad down. "I'm coming." A few minutes later she came to her uncle's side, riding a silver hover board.

Eric: He looked amused. "Can't help but show off to your friends?" he queried.

Kylie: "I've been working on perfecting this for weeks. I'm gonna show it off a bit," she said briskly. She waited for other students to arrive, occasionally floating in circles on her hover board.

Miranda: she rolled into the tech lab. "Hi! I like your hover board."

Betty: she walked into the school, blowing her nose. She always felt cold! Maybe she could ask Kylie to invent something to help...

OOC: She's outside by the gates with her uncle now

Kylie: She smiled. "Thanks," she said. "I've been working on it for a while. I think I've finally figured out now to have it... you know... explode." She greeted Betty. "Hey," she said.

Leah: Leah Gray watched from a window as students started to arrive. She had spent the past few weeks at the school with her mother, the mathematics professor, which was why she happened to know many of the teachers better than the other kids. She went outside and sat on a branch of a large tree, observing everything around her.

Jess: Jess stepped out of her car, her dark red hair falling over her shoulder. She was among the first to arrive.

Leisel Gray: Leisel watched from her classroom as a few students showed up. Slowly her eyes found their way to the tree Leah so often took refuge on, and she couldn't help but smile. Her daughter didn't quite have her beauty, but she hoped she would soon realize that it was the inside that counted.

Kylie: "Yeah, really helps when you like to keep all your limbs." She sighed, but smiled at Betty. "You gotta remind me to work on that," she said.

Eric: He greeted Jess as she arrived, and Kylie's friends. "Good morning, ladies," he said.

Betty: "Definitely, and I'll help." she pushed her glasses back onto her nose before they could slip off.

Josephine: Jo was more than relieved to exit the small car where the driver her parents had sent with her sat silently. "Thanks," She told the man knowing her parents already paid him. Closing the door, she grabbed her things and made her way to the gates of the academy, her sanctuary.

Olly: She ran around her classroom hanging different posters, past projects and more around the walls as she forgot an entire box full of decorations over the summer. The excitement of students made her smile as she moved, she had missed the older students and was so excited for newbies.

Betty: "Definitely, and I'll help." she pushed her glasses back onto her nose before they could slip off.

Kylie: "Alright," she said lightheartedly. "Just so long as you don't sneeze on my stuff," she joked.

Jo: She noticed the headmaster with a few other students and almost slowed her pace, though Jo wasn't an easily intimidated person Headmaster Alcott certainly made her cautious of her movements and decisions. Walking up to her fellow classmates and headmaster she let a small smile cross her features.

Kylie: "Alright," she said lightheartedly. "Just so long as you don't sneeze on my stuff," she joked.

Miranda: she laughed. "I'll bring some tissues."

Betty: she went into the school.

Ally: Her parents drove her to the school. They pulled up to the school gates. After assuring them she'd be fine and downing half a bottle of water, she got out of the car and walked up to the headmaster, who she had met a few weeks ago. "Hello, Mr. Alcott," she said.

Eric: "Why hello. Alethia, right? The new student I met a few weeks ago?"

Ally: She nodded. "Call me Ally."

Jo: She stared at the new girl for a moment before looking down at her bare fingernails, her mind coursing with the possibilities of the new year.

Rocky: The taxi Rocky and her parents took pulled up in front of the school. She got her luggage out of the trunk. "Do I really have to go?" Her parents sighed and told her for the ump-teenth time that it was not their decision. So she hugged her dad, kissed her mom on both cheeks and entered the school.

Felicity: "Yeah, I got to go to this nature reserve and meet a bunch of endangered species! I convinced a few to have kids and continue the species. It was really fun helping them. How about you? Did you have a good summer?"
