TS-Nine Dragons! We will never return after a disastrous trip this May. The food was terrible, and the restaurant felt very crowded. The service was slow (nonexistent, really) and we did not enjoy it at all. BUT--Lotus Blossom, the China counter service, is quite good, despite being next door to Nine Dragons
CS-Electric Umbrella in Epcot. Really gross and does not meet the standard of the other CS restaurants in WDW.

TS--H&V...I hate "feeding troughs," and I didn't even know it was a buffet! It was just the only TS we could get into without an ADR!
CS--Mexico, Epcot! I think it's called San Angel Cantina or something like that. Horrible!!

TS hands down Rose and Crown(awful awful service and food last year and our meal took over 2 hours!!- Hello we had 4 kids with us 2 under 2! It was a nightmare waiting and then getting cold food.(the kids actually held up pretty well considering.)
CS hmmm I don't know.... We don't eat at them often. I would guess it would be that awful place at MGM-the big cafeteria place.

TS - H&V again in MGM....NASTY! it was OK while eating it (a bit hot and cold when it should be cold or hot), however the reaction I had after was not okay!

CS - ABC commisary in MGM...mushy and not hot and just not pleasant.

Anyone else find that eating at MGM is wayyyy too hot or miss?!

We avoid eating at MGM, but to see Fantasmic, I don't think there is any getting around it. But this time I think we are going to try to hop to Epcot for an early dinner before going to MGM for Fantasmic.

Our worst TS experience was at Marrakesh. The interesting thing about this choice is that Marrakesh was the best dining experience of our prior trip.

On our recent trip to Marrakesh the food was terribly overcooked and dried out, both appetizers and entres. Our waiter was no where to be found. He did stop by once to take my son's plate away, before he was done eating. We were not able to tell the waiter what he done for about 15 minutes when he finally returned to our table. And on top of all this, the entertainment was non-existent. The belly dancer came out for less than five minutes the whole time we were there which was about 1 1/2 hours.

CS: Nine Dragons. The food was gross and the kids were upset because they love Chinese food.

TS: Would have to be Mama Melrose. Just not good Italian food.

We've enjoyed all our ts over the years.
Bad Cs Cantina San Angel in Mexico at Epcot. Had to throw the food away.

Cosmic Rays in MK-Food was nasty, place was dirty and tables were so small. I still get nauseous thinking about when we ate there. I know people have had good experiences there but I just can't bring myself to go back there.

I just took the mexican CS off my list being that two people now had bad experiences there.

Worst TS - Yaughtsman - food was excellent but, staff was snobby & condescending when we used the dining plan; couldn't wait to return to LeCellier!

Worst CS - Sunshine food area in Land Pavillion...actually, it could be the best food on-site (we'll probably never know LOL). Each time we've intended to dine there, it's been a gridlock...nearly impossible to traverse the open area to get to it - what a zoo!

Worse TS - tie between Sci Fi and Alfredo's .. bad sevice and bad food

Worse CS - Captain Cook's at the Polynesian .. the food was not fit to eat

It's funny to me to see places I just love show up here (Yachtsman and Rose and Crown).. but it just goes to show we all like different things. :)

cs - ABC comisarry YUCKY!!!!!!!

ts - Tony's Town square GROSS!!!!!!!!!

The worst TS food? Hollywood and Vine at MGM. In 2004 it was tasty. In 2005 most of the food was empty. There were no dessert. No food was refilled. Not worth it. Way too pricey for nothing.

Worst TS service? Liberty Tree Tavern. It took forever for the non-existant waiter to bring food. He never refilled our drinks. We couldn't find him. We had to go to the lobby to ask for our check after waiting a long time and even asking other wait staff. We were one of a number of very upset customers that Tuesday night. He came running out with a bowl of apples and the check. What were we going to do? Eat the apples without silverware like horses out in the lobby? Definately NOT worth well over $100.

Worst CS? Food? Pizza. Any pizza.
Service? The lines at Pinnochio's Village Haus. One register going with all those people? Then new lines opened after standing in one line for 15 minutes. All the people in the back of the line ran for the front leaving the rest of us who waited so long to continue to wait. That's the longest counter service I've ever had. The meal was good though.

Worst TS - Fulton's Crap, er Crab House. Tried them 3 times due to all the glowing reviews on here. Each time was a complete disaster, worse than the last one. Never again!

CS - I always think counter service is chancy, and don't expect too much, so I am not disappointed, but have frequently been impressed with how good some of the places are!

TS - Well, I can't say I have had a bad table service meal at WDW. I am wracking my brain but nothing is coming to me. Maybe Shutters at CBR? And only because I loved Captain's Tavern so much more?

CS - Electric Umbrella. Hands down. Went there last time we were in WDW and it was DISGUSTING! DIrty dirty dirty. Looked like the floor hadn't be swept in weeks. Cold, gross food. I was shocked as I had never encountered such filth at WDW. Will never venture in here again.

In a way, I think this thread is pointless. (No offense! :) ) It's hard to make a decision unless almost everyone says something is bad (like Hollywood & Vine). However, I ate at Hollywood & Vine in 2002 and it was delicious. Also that's when Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, etc were there and they were dancing and "singing" with a track and it was just so great. I was disappointed when they closed it.

Also, people are saying Sci-Fi was terrible and that's one of my favorite places that I am repeating on my next trip. Also, ABC Comissary has great Fish&Chips. So really, I think at a lot of restaurants it depends on the day/server.

For me, i've never had a bad meal at Disney to tell you the truth. And I live right by NYC, so usually when I go out to dinner it's at some historic place in Little Italy, so I do have kind of high standards on food.

So ya never know! :wizard:

Worst CS-Electric Umbrella. NASTY!! I definately felt crappy for a few hours after eating their cold chicken fingers and fries.

I haven't had a bad TS experience yet, but that may change since we have many more scheduled over our nex two trips. Will report back!
