Just curious, how is it to tour without the crowds? Did you like it, or did you feel a little lonely, for lack of a better word? As far as photography goes, I bet you had a great time (I enjoyed your pictures btw). From the photographs, it looks like you enjoyed a beautiful, mild day at the parks.

Oh my goodness, it was like a ghost town, I have never been whenever it is like that but I would love too, I have never even got to see the parade hardly for the crowds. Or even just to look at the store fronts on main street.

We must have been visiting an alternate WDW then. It was nuts there for us until tuesday. We went for EMH on sunday night and there was even a line at small world. Peter Pan was backed up to appox 65min. We had to get a fast pass for space mounting with a return of 10:30. We got it at 9! Glad you had a good time. It was the most people I've ever seen in the park.

What a wonderful experience for you. I hope it will carry over into april for us.:goodvibes

OK, OK - we were there Sunday night, too, and I agree those EMH nights can get very busy.

But for a few blissful moments on a previous morning we had what seemed like all of Liberty Square and Frontierland to ourselves. :wizard: It was very cool.

We actually hit the MK EMH Sunday at 9:30pm after watching Illuminations at Epcot. By the time we arrived, many were leaving. We were able to walk on MCoA, PoC, AA, TS and SM just as it re-opened from being broken down (second time for us). HM had 20 minutes posted and PPF had a huge line when we walked by around 10pm (though TT at Epcot earlier in the evening was also posting 20 minutes but was actually walk on, too, so who knows).

Well after experiencing just about the largest crowds and hottest weather we've ever encountered last August, it was really nice, if even for just a little while, to have the place to ourselves... and cool weather!

And you are saying that is better than this?

Your pic is how it always is for us too. Once the kids are both in college no more summer for us! ;)

AHHHH!!!:scared1:

I think this thread just cost me 2 grand. I'm ready to book a quick trip this month now. ;)

nice you hit good weather as well, we always go in winter but sometimes it gets nippy...but better than shoulder to sweaty shoulder:eek: :crazy2:

A friend of mine is down there right now camping at the fort. If this is the croud level he wil be really happy. I would love to have a trip with low crowd levels.

When we did the Keys to the Kingdom tour a couple years ago (which is excellent BTW), we were in that area and our guide said "look out over Liberty Square - can you see the ground? Then it's not crowded!"

In April, we have Crystal Palace reservations for 8:05 on a morning when the park doesn't open until 9... I expect to snap off a few quick empty-park photos before chowing down.

We were there Sat 26 - Wed 30 - and it wasnt until Tuesday and Wednesday that things started to clear out.

We were there Thur 24 - Fri 1 and our experience was the same.. we were shocked at the crowds and Tues-Thur was the only "low" crowds.
