If you had to pick only one MK eatery to have a meal at, which would you pick and why?

Thanks for helping me decide :goodvibes

We have had good dinners at LTT. The family style all you can eat is very tasty. There is something for everyone. We like the character interaction at dinner.

It use to be the castle for dinner. Now I would say LTT. Although I really could do without the characters. But the food is good. It just that it isn't special where it could not be made at home.

Guys give me a break please, but,What is LTT?

For me this is a hard question, because I really enjoy 3 of the TS restaurants here for different reasons. CP is great because of the atmosphere and I LOVE Winnie the Pooh. The food is good too(buffet). LTT has great food for dinner and is family style(I love the strawberry vinigrette on the salad!). But there is always CRT for atmosphere too. We loved the food when we went in Oct....of course it's changed now so who knows? But there isn't much that can beat being inside the castle. It really depends on the kind of food and experience you want, as they are all so different.

Now if I'm talking CS, I love Harbour House and Casey's.

Thank you for the ideas. Has anyone tried Tony's Town Square?

Yes, I'm curious too - we're thinking of going there as well because my husband loves Lady And The Tramp....

I think most of the counter serve restaurant aren't that bad, I can usually find something that I like.

Crystal Palace is my favorite character buffet at the Magic Kingdom. I also like the Plaza Restaurant.

Many years ago we loved Tony's for breakfast, wish the would bring it back. I have not eaten dinner here, it seem to get bad reviews so I've avoided it.

We eat at Tony's every trip and it's always really good. It's pretty standard Italian fare..not as good as Alfredo's in my opinion but still good. Outside of character meals in the MK I would put it up there as the best TS in the park. :wave2:

My family loves Pecos Bill's. Call us easy to please, but we always find ourselves eating lunch here on our first Magic Kingdom day. Maybe tradition has the burgers tasting better to us, but we have found ourselves saying, "I could really go for a Pecos Bill's burger right about now." :rotfl2:

For CS, I like Columbia Harbour House. I just have to have that Tuna Sandwich on Whole Grain once a trip.

I can pass on the TS restaurants in the Park, I'd rather hop over to Kona at the Poly for that. But, we did have a surprisingly good experience at Crystal Palace for lunch last Dec.

We have eaten at Tony's many times, and we enjoy it. Our other MK favorite is The Plaza. They have great sandwiches and salads--not to mention milkshakes!

I'll give my 2 cents!

Table Service:

We enjoyed our meals at the Castle (breakfast & especially dinner) but with the price increase/changes, we won't be eating there ever again. :(

My DH and I enjoyed our meals at LTT but our DDs do not like the Stoufer's food there. The character interaction and atmosphere are great though. Family style is relaxing.

CP is a great buffet, pretty restaurant and character interaction is just fine. One of our favorite places to eat, especially for an early breakfast (Breakfast Lasagna, YUM!). We all love it. Yes, it's a buffet, so you'll need to get up and down, and some don't like that but we don't mind.

We ate at Tony's for dinner last Oct for the first time and we all enjoyed it. My DDs enjoyed the pizza and the spaghetti/meatball. I LOVED my steak. Yes, the Spaghetti and Meatballs are expensive and I would never get it there, but we loved everything we ordered. We all LOVED the atmosphere and it was a fun place to celebrate DD's birthday. This place gets a bad rap a lot but we loved it and we'll be eating there again this October.

We've never eaten at the Plaza (yet).

Counter Service:

We LOVE Pinocchio Village in Fantasyland.

I've heard GREAT things about Columbia Harbour House but we still need to check it out and we will!

Cosmic Ray's is just fine. No complaints.

Honorable mention: Sleepy Hallow for yummy, quick breakfast/snacks. They have chocolate chip muffins and chocolate chip cookies and funnel cake and caramel popcorn. Hot chocolate, chocolate milk etc...we stop here a lot for a quick breakfast or yummy funnel cake.

Counter Service

I rediscovered Columbia Harbor House on my last trip. Hadn't been there in probably 15 years. I love the hummus sandwich and clam chowder.

Table Service

I like Liberty Tree Tavern at lunch. Good portions and less rowdy than the character dinner.

For my family (in other words JMHO) Tony's was hands down our worst dining experience in 4 trips to WDW. Will never go there again.

At MK really like Plaza the best. Very good sandwiches, shakes and burgers. Also salads good!

Have eaten at CP for breakfast, it was ok for a character buffet, Cosmic Rays-again ok, LTT for lunch was pretty good.

:cool1: Excellent ideas! So, we will narrow down to Tony's, Harbour House, Plaza, LTT, the Dole Whip Place, mmm there was another one. Ah CP. We've done Casey's, CRT, Cosmic Rays. Oh must get DH a shake at Plaza. He's a shake fiend! :teeth:

For Counter service, we always enjoy Pecos Bills. I love the chicken salad they have there, and the fixins bar for the burgers is great! :thumbsup2

So far the only sitdown I have done here is Cinderella's Table (in the castle)- it was tasty, but nothing I would rave about. And I have read that it is different now anyway- more expensive and not as many choices...

On our last trip we finally discovered Liberty Tree Tavern for LUNCH! The food is delicious (make sure to request the rolls and honey-butter) and there is a good variety to choose from on the menu. An added bonus is a warm and subdued atmosphere in which to dine. It is now a must-do on every trip!

Our favorite are 2 CS- we like the Columbia Harbour house- (eat upstairs) and Pecos Bill(I think they power salt the burgers!)
For CS we are not that fond of any of them- but we didn't like Tony's at all. LTT was basic food but good(stouffers frozen food-) I am going to have to try lunch here.
