Absinthe in Cozumel?

I was just searching the internet and see that they now sell Absinthe in Mexico. Has anyone tried the different brands, how much are they, etc? I'm very interested in trying a commercial brand, I've only had the home-made stuff (yeckkkk). Any info would be appreciated.

I would like to know abou this as well, we however are going on the Eastern in November, and will be in Mexico in Dec. I would like to know if you can buy in St. Marten? As well as Mexico

Spencertaylor, here's a link to a good Absinthe website. As far as I can tell they only sell one kind of Absinthe in Mexico and it's not rated as a very good one. But maybe that's the only one they advertise?

that absinthe is powerful stuff...legend has it that it will make you hallucinate....
