I am looking at the prices for excursions on the Western cruise, and am wondering what age child qualifies for the "child rate". In other words -- at what age do I have to pay the "adult" rate for my children. They will be 9 & 11 when we sail. Thanks for your help!

Disney considers children "adults" at the age of 10 for excursion purposes. So, you'll have to pay for 3 adults and 1 child for all excursions you book through DCL.

Thanks jel0511 for your quick answer! I wish I didn't have to pay an "adult" price for an 11-year old, but oh well......

eeyore...I feel the same way about my 10 year old having to pay an adult entrance fee to WDW now and for the cruise excursions as well.

Seems kind of stupid to me that most places consider an adult to be at least somewhat legal..16, 18 or 21....
