? about Waitlist

We'll be making a reservation for our home resort and if we decide that we might like to stay elsewhere, should we ask be put on the waitlist for another resort now as well, or would we have to wait until 7 months prior to our trip to call for a room at a different resort and be put on the waitlist then if a room is not available?

I believe that you have to wait until the 7 month window to change reservations. I, too, just made reservations for my home resort, at my 11 month window, and will look into changing at the 7 month window.

At 7 months you call. If nothing is avilable at a resort you are interested in, you can go on to a wait list then. You can't wait list at a non home resort before the 7 month window opens.
