Hi: We are DVC members and will be in the Vero area soon. We've never stayed at the Vero DVC and won't be doing so this trip but will be returning in the future and would like to consider using some of our points there. But, my question is whether it is possible to visit it to see the facility and perhaps dine, check out the beach area, pool, etc. Or is the facility restricted to only those staying there. I know that a visit is possible at WDW DVC's, but wasn't sure about Vero. Thanks!!!

Yes you can visit. When we were staying there last spring, a local couple were having dinner at the table next to us and were saying they come there to eat all the time. You have to use a guest room Key to access the pool or the beach area but you can see all of it from just outside the gate, or I'm sure the front desk would give you access or maybe even give you a tour. They are very accomodating!
