? about upgrading ticket

Hi! I am not sure if I posted this question in the right place but you people on the Budget Board have always answered my questions and have been so great and helpful.
We are going in Sept. for free dining, we have 10 day base tickets, my 17 year old may want to park hop because she has a friend who will be there with their family part of the time. Can we take just one ticket from our room package and go to guest services and pay to upgrade just that one ticket to park hopping option?
