First of all Congratulations!! I'm very excited for you and everyone on here who has shared their engagement story!!

I've enjoyed reading through this read. It's kinda funny. I felt like I was the only one in this situation. My BF and I have been talking about marriage for awhile. He even took me ring shopping a few months ago. I showed him what I liked. But we were just doing that for fun. Recently our talk about marriage has been getting more serious.. we know we want it.. and we are sort of unofficially engaged already.. cause we already settled we want to go to Disney for our honeymoon and on a date. lol He's a teacher so we're working it around his schedule. He just hasn't officially asked me with the ring.

But I knew it was coming soon. I know he ordered the ring. The one I wanted in the store had to be specially ordered because I wanted it in a different setting. The other night I was standing with him in the kitchen when his phone rang.. He says "oh, I don't know this number" and answered it... I hear.. a very cheery voice, "Hi, this is so and so from Kay Jewelers" and he darts off... I kinda hear him say... "yeah that'll work out great" and he was being pretty sly when he got off the phone.. lol... sooo yeah I know it's coming very very soon. I can't wait for it to be official, so I can share it with everyone and really start planning! It's hard to tell friends and family anything and have them take you seriously when it's not even official yet! I'm dying to go dress shopping and everything. All I want to do is look at wedding stuff!!
