About those refillable mugs...

...it's been quite a while since I've actually seen a thread devoted to these pesky things. Sure there have been lots of jokes and references to the refillable mug threads - but no threads dedicated to them.

It's time.

What do you think if I take my refillable ASMo 2003 mug and try to use it at the Grand Californian in March? How will that fly? :earboy2:

I think you should be locked up in a maximum security prison if you even so much as try! You fiend!

:earboy2:

Well, I took mine to Six Flags and could you believe they had the audacity to tell me I couldn't use it!

Those losers.

I tried bringing it into McDonalds last week and they wouldn't fill it up for me! What the heck????

Doesn't McD and Disney have a deal together??????

:earboy2:

They biodegrade after about 100 years. I say if Disney had not meant for us to use them on more than 20 visits they wouldn't have made them so well

They do. I think it's legal. Bring it back. :smooth:

I think I will.

I mean it says good for refills throughout length of stay... Well, I intend to stay in my neighborhood for a long time, and I better get some use out of it.

Another thing... does anyone know if those mugs carry a lifetime guarantee or not???

I mean, I'd like to pass it on to my grandkids someday and considering Disney sets such high standards, I'm assuming their mugs would at least have a 50yr guarantee, right?

I've been using mine as an ashtray while I smoke on my balcony because there is no room with all 8 of staying in the same non-smoking room.

Good thing, because you don't want your towel animal getting all smokey.

Is it OK if my mom gets me a child's ticket next time we go...I mean I am only in my late twenties....they won't notice will they????

And then it would smell up the clothes in your suitcase when you "steal" it and bring it home.

I think I'll bring my mug from home. Or better yet, how about a plastic zip lock bag?

I'm going to bring my CSR mug next month and refill it at AS Sports, which is where I'm staying. But I'll actually be drinking from it at the Wilderness Lodge Pool.....
