I thought I would post this on the resort board because the never land club is in the polynesian. Well, just wondering what it is like. If you have kids and they have gone there, did they enjoy it? I'm just wondering what there is to do there. I know they have a kids buffet.....what kind food does the buffet have. The usual?....hot dogs, pizza, mac & cheese, etc etc???? Do they have computers there? Any characters? Any information would be grately appreciated! Thankyou!!!!!:)

My dd was just turned 8 when we were there last fall. She loved the "Neverland Club"!! They did arts and crafts, video games(PlayStation), movies(large screen), puzzles, play areas such as housekeeping. Food was mac and cheese, corn on the cob, milk and choc pudding. These are direct from the horse's mouth, so to speak. She says it's her favorite thing from that trip. In fact, because of the "Neverland Club", we are staying at the Poly for the last 3 nights of our next trip. Of course, that means 4 nights in ***!!! I'm sure you'll really like it. You feel very safe leaving the kids there. You get a beeper to take with you. ANd you are given a sort of claim check. No claim check, no kid!!! And, they get to enter thru Wendy's bedroom window. I understand that there used to be characters but I think they stopped. There were no characters when dd was there. At $8.00 it was a great thing. Have a ball. :earsgirl:

My kids stayed there in Dec and loved it. They played real arcade games and play station. All that they can tell me about the buffet is that there was ice cream. In the beginning they got pixiedust sprinkled on them and they entered neverland through the nursery window. They have stayed at several kids club and liked this one the best. In fact we will be using the never land club this trip even though we are not staying at the Poly, due to the kids request.

We just got back from WDW last week. We stayed at the Poly and our kids (both boys, 5 and 6 1/2) went to the Neverland Club 2 nights. They absolutely loved it. They wanted to go more often.

From what they said they had a choice of food including pizza, mac and cheese and chicken nuggets. They loved the video arcade games (which were free). Spiderman was their favorite. Plus there were movies and lots of toys and arts and crafts activities. I did not see any computers and there were no characters. But like I said, they loved the place. We are definitely using it again, next time we go.

Our kids, ages 7 & 10 really enjoyed it when they went last December. They were happy with the food and the activities. They didn't want to leave when we went to pick them up! They had been bugging us to go there for years, so we finally caved in.

We were at the Poly 2 days ago, checking it out for when we bring our family to stay there in December. (We visited after our cruise, since we had a late flight and time to kill). We didn't have our kids with us, so we wanted to videotape Neverland Club to show our kids what they can look forward too. It opened at 4:00, which is when we got there. There were no kids inside yet. I thought it was adorable! The reception area, where you check in, is Wendy's bedroom. Her bed serves as the desk the check-in lady sits behind :o) Wendy's bedroom window is the entrance to the club, so you have to climb thru it to get in. Inside you will see Captain Hook's ship, which houses the arcade. Skull rock hides a play area with dollhouses and toys. I saw tables with crafts, crayons and paper, lei making supplies, etc. There is a big screen they can watch movies on with bleacher-type seating for the kids to sit on. The buffet is on the big crocodile's back. The food was not out yet, so we couldn't see what was offered. We let our kids watch the video of it today and they think it looks fun. They can't wait to go!

Our last night at Disney, I told our two children(6 and 10) that we could do ANYTHING they wanted. Any favorite ride, visit any show, whatever. They wanted to go to the Neverland Club for the third time out of our 10 days. They loved it. It was great to for me and my wife because we got to go back and do what we wanted!

Ours are, regrettably, too old for Neverland and too young to be turned loose! When they were of the appropriate ages, both LOVED Neverland.

Our son enjoyed the real arcade games that were FREE! He couldn't get over playing those games without filling them full of quarters.

Our daughter loved playing with other little girls, doing arts/crafts, and games.

Both enjoyed their buffet dinner and indicated there were CMs that went through the line with them and held their plates as well as filled the plates after asking preferences. This was one of my concerns since our son has mild cerebral palsy (it wouldn't be evident from his appearance) and I was afraid that due to his lack of coordination he'd spill a plate or something. I was also concerned the kids would burn themselves attempting to scoop their own food.

In the good old days Neverland had a character appearance, but this doesn't happen any longer. They also used to have an animal handler from Discovery Island who brought birds and small reptiles. I don't know if they do this any longer either.

The CMs at Neverland are GREAT! Our daughter was a bit timid during our first visit. She wouldn't stay but our son did (she stayed with her cousin and aunt instead). After she went along to pick up her brother, she was so sad that she chose not to stay. She couldn't wait for the next trip to do it as well.

As others have said, this was an attraction for our kids and they couldn't wait to go and didn't want to leave! They also would have liked to go more than once per trip, but we wouldn't cave on that--we wanted family evenings, too! :D
