? about the castle....

When it comes down to choosing between the two I definately prefer the gold!The cake looks like it belongs in the Candyland Game!!

My trip starts on Oct 12. I don't care whether the castle is decorated or not, but what I am hoping for is that they are not in the middle of taking down the decorations while I am there. How long does it take to take down stuff like that and would the whole process pretty much ruin any chance of getting a good photograph of the castle?

I like the gold trim and characters a lot, but agree that the mirror needs to go- it just looks cheap and plastic-y. I love the rest of the adornments, though.. I think they make the castle look more like a lovely princess lives there- before it was pretty plain-jane, IMHO.

I'm actually okay with them leaving the gold trim up or taking it down, but the flying Peter Pan and Wendy simply MUST STAY!
